Thank you for making videos like this, it’s really nice to have someone else who accurately “Flogs” in a way that can help give me peace of mind when cleaning my frogs enclosure and thinking I’m not doing good enough haha.
Wow that must be the first time I've ever seen them behave themselves. The enclosure looks awesome. And GIRL, don't worry about what you look like, you're beautiful, woth a beautiful heart, that's all that matters sweetie ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
My reptiles take up my bedroom atm but as soon as i can id love to give some white tree frogs a great enriching environment, I love the vibe of the viv u have created ♡
This video deserves way more views Jessica, I legit love these little guys so much and have the playlist saved to watch as comfort videos all the time 😭
I keep them around 50% humidity and I don’t spray the enclosure I just keep three large water dishes in the bottom! They have limited screen ventilation at the top so that’s a big reason why!
@@JessicasAnimalFriends Thanks! I aim for around 50%, but there seems to be a lot of variation online (I've seen anywhere between 30-70+%...) and then I start to doubt myself. This is helpful!
I got Woody’s terrarium from the Bio Dude and he gave me isopods and I don’t have to take it apart and clean it out like that. All I need to do is wipe the glass down and give him freshwater and clean his water bowl out. Also, I feed my froggy in a little container with the crickets in it so he can eat as many as he wants. I know you have a few frogs and it would be difficult that way, but just sharing with you
i have three gray trees frogs and i’ve had them for a couple years now! i was just wondering what are your favorite feeders for tree frogs? also curious if you have ever thought of making their terrarium bio active? once i switched mine to bio active it was amazing! love your vids!
I really would love to get some poison dart frogs soon. I’ve done a lot of research, and I love the dark blue or orange ones. So, I may try to get a few in the near future. My birthday is soon. Last birthday, I got my three female leopard geckos. I’ve officially almost had them for a year. As far as I know, they seem to be doing pretty well.
Hello! Would you be able to explain how you can tell if the whites tree frog has a healthy weight on them. I recently adopted a juvenile and would love to know if he is healthy or underweight. Thanks!
Originally, I used a bioactive substrate back when all 4 frogs were rehomed to me. Unfortunately, when the frogs were rehomed to me they came with parasites, and within a month of them living in this Bioactive (even after a quarantine period) coco began having signs of illness that was a parasitic infection, though it took time to diagnose this because not all of the frogs were sick, just coco. After many fecals and multiple treatments to diagnose the issue (including antibiotic trials and x rays) it was determined when Durian was introduced to the frogs a few months prior in their former home, durian gave them parasites. This didn’t become an issue bc they were kept on paper towel before I got them, so when I kept them on a substrate that was bioactive it then became an issue but only for coco. Due to the fact that these parasites can live in the environment, I had to get substrate that was easy to throw out. The frogs have been treated for parasites multiple times, and though only coco had actual health issues from the parasites, using a substrate that can be thrown out prevents them from living in the substrate and accumulating and causing more issues down the road. It was so much work to get the parasites in Coco to a manageable level, my vet and I aren’t sure why coco but none of the others had such a strong response. Anyways I hope this cleared up any confusion. I would love to just have them in a bioactive but unfortunately it’s not in the cards for them (and truthfully they don’t seem to mind and I’m just happy they’re all doing well). They have their own set of tongs, their own dishes, and their own decor so nothing is ever cross contaminated with the other pets as well. It’s been a long time now since those issues but it was a big headache so I’m just happy I found a solution.
Maybe instead of trying to find where to put the plants and stuff watch it video and see how you place them in the enclosure it could save time (you don't have to tho)

I love how intense but head-empty your frogs are xD
Thank you so much for the video we are just starting out and I love learning from those who have had experience!
The enclosure looks beautiful 😍
You did a great job girl hate cleaning tanks but I love when it's done
I love WTFs. I have one that’s a few months old and “he” is the funniest little guy I’ve ever seen.

Your frogs are so adorable! I’d love white's tree frogs but sadly don’t have space at the moment 🙃

Would love to hear more about your opinions on humidity for WTFs, or even just the cliff notes version of what you do with your frogs.

My frogs have the set up they do due to ongoing health issues they’ve had thanks to parasites. I had them in a bioactive before all of their issues.
I love these frogs!

Rockem bockems! AHAHAHHA Knew immediately 😂
I was STRUGGLING lol
Are those Veronica Steiner prints in the background of your intro?! I love her art! 😍😍
Yes!! It’s my bathroom!

Should i only clean with warm water or use water vinegar solution or some other chemicals?🐸
How do you keep the frogs in while your cleaning my frogs are crazy and jump everywhere

How often do you feed them.
Where do you get the special rocks on the wall?
Custom reptile habitats linked in bio :)
@@JessicasAnimalFriends I seen, thank you so much!
Can you keep live insects in a critter house so you don’t have to keep buying them. Or how would that work?
Do you clean the decor you removed from the tank? If so, how? (I hope this comment didn't come in too late)
Beautiful frogs. How long do you leave the moss in tank between cleanings
A month
@@JessicasAnimalFriends thank you
The sphagnum moss does look like a hassle. Why choose that over a bioactive substrate?

@@JessicasAnimalFriends thanks for your comment! I love your videos and the care you have for your animals, it’s inspiring
how old are the frogs?
Do you use any heating/uvb or supplements for your wtfs? And how often would you spray down the tank to keep it humid
They are provided UVB. I don’t spray it down too often as they only have one strip for ventilation and they are provided 3 large water bowls.
HI, GUESS WHAT, I GOT THE GECKO I TOLD YOU ABOUT LIKE A WEEK AGO
WOOOOO
🥰 How often do you clean?
Do not know if these frogs are legal in Norway .. Maybe I should investigate more😉
Nice 🤩
The door and bowls are cleaned twice a week but the rest of the enclosure doesn’t get as dirty so I do it once a month
Hi i know this video is old. But have u ever had problem with having spagnam moss as a substrate?
Nope! Still use it
@JessicasAnimalFriends awesome. I have it to just trying to keep my humidty down. I have sprayed in 2 days and it's still at 70
Adoralbe. Is that a 4x2x2?
Edit: Jk watching the enclosure tour!
Hehe close!! 4x1.5x2! I couldn’t fit it on the shelf if it was a 4x2x2 so I sacrificed a few inches LOL
I’m so torn between getting whites tree frog or a crested gecko
Also how much we're the rock ledges and were did u get them?
I can’t remember the cost but they come in a 5 pack from Josh’s frogs though you can also find them at universal rocks
Great video. How often do you change the moss
Once a month-ish
I really want a white tree frog and I wonder if you can feed them dead insects or do they have to be alive??
They have to be alive. You can get live crickets/dubia roaches. Gutload them. Then feed to your frogs.
Maybe instead of trying to find where to put the plants and stuff watch it video and see how you place them in the enclosure it could save time (you don't have to tho)
Do you boil and reuse your sphagnum moss?
Nope I toss it
Where did u get the cage ❤️❤️
All American Cages
And how much was it
I cannot remember but it was custom
@@JessicasAnimalFriends wher did u get the custom tank from
froge
Go bioactive
Do you just use warm water to spot clean the background/wood?
Yep!
