Such a fantastic race this was from Rossi. Choosing the hard rear proved to be such an important decision. Watching him reel in everyone lap by lap and eventually Marquez was a tactical masterclass.
I'm watching MotoGP for some decades now: I love it - the hard fights and the harder fights. Sometimes you may have to cheat on the grid and may MM is a talented driver as well, but sometimes he is too ruthless, too reckless and I like, when his ego gets what it deserves.

I know Rossi was fighting for the title that year, but that doesn't mean you do something that makes another retire from the race. I don't remember, but in some other race the same year, Rossi kicked the front wheel of Marquez and as a penalty, Rossi had to start from the end of the grid the next race, which led him lose the championship ultimately.

Looking at those grid gals, I too, had the hard option before the warm up lap. Luckily the racing was phenomenal so I was back to the soft by lap 2 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is what happened. After Rossi passed marc he left basically no space for a cut back, but Marc being Marc still went for it and then ended up hitting Rossi's bike and because of that Rossi looked sideways. Then Marc's bike was still far too close to Rossi's bike so when Rossi turned left for the next corner, it took out the front of Marc's bike and he crashed. There you go.
This is what happened. Rossi looked sideways and well knew where Marc was so when he turned left he knew he could touch the front of Marc's bike and force him crash. After 20 years in motogp you learn every dirt trick. There you go.

You need to watch the replay again man! Rossi looks behind at Marquez and deliberately swerves so it upsets the front wheel of Marquez. No wonder Rossi was penalised for this Rossi is one of the greatest, and one of my favourites too! But actions like this need to be punished, so that they won't happen again.
@@arnabgoswami8849 and if you look at the line they're both taking you should see that Rossi is ahead. both had to straighten up once the corner was completed, and both did it on a line that was a recipe for disaster. He didn't look behind, he looked to the right slightly, there's a difference. It was probably assumed to be good to go, but when they both released their lean identically, on a line where marquez was aiming towards the line Rossi was on, it backfired hard and BOTH bikes had to do the exact same thing. So.. maybe you should 0.25 speed watch it to see exactly what happened and you'll notice Marquez is still moving left. If Rossi had not straightened up, it would have likely been a similar outcome, with one bike still on the ground.
@@FieryLeMoonlight flossi looking slightly is enough to know where mm wheels is. rossi straghten up because he knew he would knock mm off. And before the corner. Rossi went wide and marc took inside line to gain momention but rossi closed the gap. He should have know mm will be there or he thinks mm is like other who would simple give up. Typical flossi. Lucky Flossi paid his price in the end for this silly accident that could be avoided by old grandpa. And the reason why the gap decreased rossi had extra hard mm only hard. And because of this mm93 also learned from rossi not to push early. That allowed him to smash 4 titles next time. Rossi had no answer good riddance flossi is forgoted and out! Thats only what flossi got. He had zero speed on marc here but saved his tire for later attack. Thats all what slow flossi has. Thats what flossi did earlier with other rivals too. Now mm has checkmated him from 16 onwards and all flossi is doing is crying. So satisfying! Had mm learned what flossi doing he would have won this race easily. Thats also why you see mm no longer opens the gap from pole anymore. He will tuck behind meaning the front is pacing him. And whip goes he past in the end. Thats what Goat Marc should have done here. He should have behind the riders and he would have a better change in the end. How ever i think it would be hard since he had hard tire and flossi extra hard tire. Turn 2 is where flossi gained big avantage time on marc. Marc was losing easily half a sec in that corner. Still Marques is my Goat ever!
49:14 watch in 0.25× This is the reason Rossi failed to win 10 championship title Marc and Rossi were good friend in 2013 and 2014.After this incident than in Assen incident Rossi took shortcut and won the race so he start talking like enemies about Marc in media to defend himself and he success lots of people start to hate Marc coz Rossi was popular at that time and Marc was new. Rossi's fan already don't like Marc coz he started to win more than Rossi. Rossi made lots of enemies in past with his Competitor but he choose wrong enemies this time with Marc coz he was different he gave what Rossi want in sepang and Rossi made a huge mistake by kicking Marc which cost him to start from the back of the grid in next race. But Rossi was good from 2016 to till his retirement.I only saw an incident in 2018 between Rossi and Marc.I ll say it was Marc fault he pushed rossi out so he got 30 sec penalty for it which is equal to 10 long lap penalty.

Ich bin immer noch ein riesen Rossi Fan, auch wenn er nicht mehr so erfolgreich ist wie früher. Zeiten und Fahrstil haben sich geändert. Aber Rossi ist immer noch da, er kämpft noch immer ums Podium, und was viele vergessen, ein 5 oder 4 Platz ist nicht schlecht, manche schaffen es in ihrer MotoGP Karriere niemals in den Bereich, überhaupt ans Podium zu denken. Ich hoffe dass wir noch viel Spaß an il dottore haben bevor er die Lederkombi an den Nagel hängt. Was eine Karriere, was für Erfolge. Für mich wird er immer the Goat sein, der alles gewonnen hat was man gewinnen kann. Umso mehr freue ich mich über den neuen Vertrag mit Petronas. Wenn sie genauso mit ihm arbeiten wie mit Quatararo und Morbidelli können wir noch einiges von Vale erwarten. Und ich drücke ihm bis zum Schluss die Daumen noch einmal ganz oben auf dem Podium zu stehen. 💪💪💪

Seems like the sound of the motorcycle is no longer part of the race, the commentators are constantly talking and the sound of the motorcycles are turned down. How much commentating is really needed when I'm watching the race. I'm a motor head and I like to hear the bikes go screaming by.

The king MotoGP & the greatest Valentino Rossi give the best story on Argentina circuit 👍🙏
This is what happened. After Rossi passed marc he left basically no space for a cut back, but Marc being Marc still went for it and then ended up hitting Rossi's bike and because of that Rossi looked sideways. Then Marc's bike was still far too close to Rossi's bike so when Rossi turned left for the next corner, it took out the front of Marc's bike and he crashed. There you go.

This is what happened. Rossi looked sideways and well knew where Marc was so when he turned left he knew he could touch the front of Marc's bike and force him crash. After 20 years in motogp you learn every dirt trick. There you go.

Rossi is so incredibly fast, the gap from lap to lap is insane. Poor Marquez lead from the beginning but got nothing but dust at the end.

Age is just a number for Rossi. What a great comeback! 4 secs plus gap got erased. I will really miss Rossi. Marquez was too aggressive he crashed on his own he almost took down rossi
You need to watch the replay again man! Rossi looks behind at Marquez and deliberately swerves so it upsets the front wheel of Marquez. No wonder Rossi was penalised for this
Rossi is one of the greatest, and one of my favourites too! But actions like this need to be punished, so that they won't happen again.
@@arnabgoswami8849 and if you look at the line they're both taking you should see that Rossi is ahead. both had to straighten up once the corner was completed, and both did it on a line that was a recipe for disaster. He didn't look behind, he looked to the right slightly, there's a difference. It was probably assumed to be good to go, but when they both released their lean identically, on a line where marquez was aiming towards the line Rossi was on, it backfired hard and BOTH bikes had to do the exact same thing. So.. maybe you should 0.25 speed watch it to see exactly what happened and you'll notice Marquez is still moving left. If Rossi had not straightened up, it would have likely been a similar outcome, with one bike still on the ground.
@@FieryLeMoonlight flossi looking slightly is enough to know where mm wheels is. rossi straghten up because he knew he would knock mm off. And before the corner. Rossi went wide and marc took inside line to gain momention but rossi closed the gap. He should have know mm will be there or he thinks mm is like other who would simple give up. Typical flossi. Lucky Flossi paid his price in the end for this silly accident that could be avoided by old grandpa. And the reason why the gap decreased rossi had extra hard mm only hard. And because of this mm93 also learned from rossi not to push early. That allowed him to smash 4 titles next time. Rossi had no answer good riddance flossi is forgoted and out! Thats only what flossi got. He had zero speed on marc here but saved his tire for later attack. Thats all what slow flossi has. Thats what flossi did earlier with other rivals too. Now mm has checkmated him from 16 onwards and all flossi is doing is crying. So satisfying! Had mm learned what flossi doing he would have won this race easily. Thats also why you see mm no longer opens the gap from pole anymore. He will tuck behind meaning the front is pacing him. And whip goes he past in the end. Thats what Goat Marc should have done here. He should have behind the riders and he would have a better change in the end. How ever i think it would be hard since he had hard tire and flossi extra hard tire. Turn 2 is where flossi gained big avantage time on marc. Marc was losing easily half a sec in that corner. Still Marques is my Goat ever!

This is the reason Rossi failed to win 10 championship title
Marc and Rossi were good friend in 2013 and 2014.After this incident than in Assen incident Rossi took shortcut and won the race so he start talking like enemies about Marc in media to defend himself and he success lots of people start to hate Marc coz Rossi was popular at that time and Marc was new. Rossi's fan already don't like Marc coz he started to win more than Rossi.
Rossi made lots of enemies in past with his Competitor but he choose wrong enemies this time with Marc coz he was different he gave what Rossi want in sepang and Rossi made a huge mistake by kicking Marc which cost him to start from the back of the grid in next race.
But Rossi was good from 2016 to till his retirement.I only saw an incident in 2018 between Rossi and Marc.I ll say it was Marc fault he pushed rossi out so he got 30 sec penalty for it which is equal to 10 long lap penalty.

Ich bin immer noch ein riesen Rossi Fan, auch wenn er nicht mehr so erfolgreich ist wie früher. Zeiten und Fahrstil haben sich geändert. Aber Rossi ist immer noch da, er kämpft noch immer ums Podium, und was viele vergessen, ein 5 oder 4 Platz ist nicht schlecht, manche schaffen es in ihrer MotoGP Karriere niemals in den Bereich, überhaupt ans Podium zu denken. Ich hoffe dass wir noch viel Spaß an il dottore haben bevor er die Lederkombi an den Nagel hängt. Was eine Karriere, was für Erfolge. Für mich wird er immer the Goat sein, der alles gewonnen hat was man gewinnen kann. Umso mehr freue ich mich über den neuen Vertrag mit Petronas. Wenn sie genauso mit ihm arbeiten wie mit Quatararo und Morbidelli können wir noch einiges von Vale erwarten. Und ich drücke ihm bis zum Schluss die Daumen noch einmal ganz oben auf dem Podium zu stehen. 💪💪💪

Seems like the sound of the motorcycle is no longer part of the race, the commentators are constantly talking and the sound of the motorcycles are turned down. How much commentating is really needed when I'm watching the race. I'm a motor head and I like to hear the bikes go screaming by.
I always got mad by their dumb action.. Their overtalking same incident like over and over is what take away the race spirit
