Purchased several months ago, this Pilot Elite has become a favourite of mine. It’s smooth writing and unique style are top notch. I am totally convinced that you don’t have to spend a lot for a good daily writing instrument. Mine is the champagne and burgundy in fine and I am now looking for the black in medium.
Excellent! I predominantly write with Japanese fine and western extra fine nibs on Tomoe River paper. After watching this, I feel a need to "broaden" my nib selection! Love that ink!!

Great video and beautiful handwriting! Interesting, the ink seems to look similar to the Lamy blue black. What are your thoughts on the Lamy if you’ve ever tried it?
I tried all the Lamy lines, and even though all of them are well built and fun to use, I didn't feel the connection with them...but I might try to get a few in for videos! thank you for the comment! An

What is the nib size you prefer for everyday writing?
I am always confused between medium and fine nib sizes.
I switch around between F and M and depends on the ink, so I could adjust the flow rate with the pen-ink combination. It's like choosing a pair of shoes to wear first thing in the morning!

615 means that this pen was made in June 2015
oh I thought this only applies to pens made from the 60s to 80s among the 2 main Pilot factories in Japan. Thanks for the info
