- Harold Faltermeyer - The Running Man - Theme
[Extended & Remastered by Gilles Nuytens]
This is an extended version of the great theme of the movie « The Running Man » (1987) by Harold Faltermeyer. This is not a remix or a cover, this is the original material taken from the original CD. There's no loop! I have also remastered the sound but I'm a newbie in sound editing so I did what I could.
Legal notes: I do not own this music! All rights remain to Harold Faltermeyer.
this is why the 80s is the best decade
And 90’s had the best movies too
100% No doubt about it
Yes that's right. These 80's soundtracks are optimal and eternal for those who appreciate such splendid film music!!
Such a great movie! One of my favs and very underrated!
Remember seeing this one at the premiere here in Germany in the local cinema... My friend and I were the only two women among Men of all ages 😂😂😂... That's no joke... It was a great feeling, when at the beginning we all yelled ARNIE, ARNIE, ARNIE... 🙈🙈🙈
“ Killian ! First Sub Zero …. Now Plain Zero “
What a tune. I listen to this every morning to get my psyched up for the day. It's time....to start....RUNNING.
O
It's.......SHOWTIME!!
The movie that is exactly as old as I am. Came out the exact day I was born
That hit the spot
This individual understood the assignment. Most relevant and perfectly delivered comment 😂👍✌️
Love some Cadre.
Synth heaven
Note: WTF is wrong with the music recognition of youtube here? It's The Running Man music by Harold Faltermeyer, not this "Það voru ekki mín morð" thing that uses Harold Faltermeyer's music!
Been whistling this damn tune all day couldn’t remember what it was. The name just popped in my head glad I was right first time after 12 hours of torture!
Great tune!
Great soundtrack, love the film.
One of us is in biig trouble... (my comment to this scene: guess fk who :D).
1987....
the year arnold was hunted in two separate great movies.
With Governor Jesse Ventura both times.
This remastered version is way better than the original.
*AND WHO LOVES YOU, AND WHO DO YOU LOVE??*
What was first just a dream has become a frightening reality
My alternative for the national anthem of the United States. 😮
Love the 80’s
Ohh, the organ playing late is great.
Very dark and horrific.
Impressive.
The dislikes on this video are “plain zero” 😎🤣
This comment will likely never get the appreciation it deserves.

Naaah, just kidding,it's the new thing of Ytube where you cannot see the dislikes...unless you download the app for it.

Are you ready for pain?
Are you ready for suffering?
If you answered yes, then you are ready for Captain Freedom's workout.

Ooo .. epic
Very Chilling!
The woman showed amazing honor and convictions. She appeared to be middle class, and had it made. 99% of people out there would have never helped Ben.
What a tough broad.
Greets from germany 🫶🫶🫶🫶🤘🤘🤘🤘
Ben Richards: I've seen you before. You're the asshole on TV.
Killian: That's funny I was going to say the same thing about you.
Yes I know what you mean, Arnold "screw your freedoms" Schwarzenegger. Never meet your hero's 🤦😂
@@jak_1894 Whatever you say BUB. I just happened to be quoting from a classic film
@@evieraotacon He isn't even ready for Captain Freedoms workout 💪
@@JakeLeslie1986 That's for sure 😁
It’s a movie based on a book by Richard Bachman. “Killian, I’ll be back.” “ Only in a rerun.”
Wow! This fits really well with the source material! Masterful job!
Remember climbing for 💰
Very nice . Thanxxx...:)
Well that hit the spot
Running man is directed by Stasky from The tv série Stasky and Hutch and the screenplay is from Richard Bachman also known as Stephen King. 📍
The screenplay was written by Steven de Souza. It was based on the novel by King.
@@t.c.b4722 you are absolutely correct... And by the way.. THE name is STARSKY... DAVE STARSKY
Paul Michael Glaser also directed Band of the Hand 1986

You only love this mountain range because it is part of you.
KILLIAN IS LYING TO YOU.
fuckin classic
Is this arnies best film ? I’d say very tough between this and T2 .. He had sooooo many great films ❤
Predator was also a classic and right up there with one of his best in my opinion but it's hard to choose between them.
@@jonathanlamb9024very hard, love T2 probably my top 2 films, but running man I remember the first time watching it I was on an emotional rollercoaster.. True lies was great to
No, T2 was his best film.
It's not even close.
This one is easily top 10 in most lists.
I love the running man musical.
Eff you the Hunger Games.
😊
Great movie great oneliners
Don't make them like this anymore. One of my favourite childhood movies. The music is so grim and fits the plot perfectly, a feeling of no hope...🏃💨
a feeling of no hope . straight up despair.
Killian pensabas que me habia olvidado de ti??Ben todo forma parte del Show de la tv no te lo tomes tan apecho.......jajajaj gran film y la banda sonora increible.
Amazing reminds me of a horror movie 80s style!
this is so sick
This is played when they escape jail and it sounds upbeat, but at other times it sounds menacing
Good point.
If only they made movies like this now. It's all just a bunch of rip-offs and sequels. Classic hollywood

You want ratings, you want people in front of the TV sets instead of picket lines. Well, you ain't gonna get that with reruns of Gilligan's lsland

Is it a deadly gameshow, or are they staged executions? The myriad of different synopses I've read for the basic plot is legendary and all valid
I grew up watching such movies. Two sexes, no political correctness. Man, I miss these beautiful times
Today movies are barely watchable, with a few exceptions, most have become just tools for propaganda and for spreading political correctness fanaticism into our throats. Not entertaining anymore, just moralizing crap.
@@Auto-TOM I banned the idiot that was commenting. How'd you know that anyway, are you the same person?
Lol, I was born when escape from newyork hit the cinemas, I didn't even know that for the longest time and it's my fav 80s dystopia future flick 😮 but how real its becoming....
Yeah, films from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and early 2000s had some serious magic back in the day, and incredibly enough "The Running Man" resonates even more today than it did in 1987. And come to think of it, excessive PC Culture in everything in general, excessive censoring, and stuff makes me think that in a way we are now living inside a "dystopia" like many writers and novelists imagined at the time. Of course, there is no "Running Man" TV show, nor are we eating "Soylent Green" yet, but we are inside a dystopia.
@@cpl.barbarusc4814 Yes, we are in the early stages of dystopia, and still most of people don't realize it.
LOOOK, here was sub zero…now…PLAIN ZERO
