- This video demonstrates how to test the voltage for a microwave turntable motor. If the motor is not receiving proper voltage, the turntable may not spin properly.

Thanks for the video, I found the wiring diagram behind the ribbon on the control board and it gave me the normal reading when testing my turntable motor...it tested as an open line and I pulled one from another microwave we had laying around that tested good. Super fast easy fix!

On some microwaves that part of the microwave is riveted together
Don't these motors start up spinning in a random Direction which is okay for a turntable in a microwave
Door switch probably
