Exposing the Domain Privacy Scam

Do you need privacy protection for your domain name? Find out if domain name privacy protection is worth it now that GDPR masked what was once public WHOIS information. It costs extra at some registrars like domain.com for privacy and protection while other companies like Google Domains include this for free. Now a WHOIS lookup will show "redacted for privacy" instead with perhaps a way to contact the domain owner with a service from Tiered Access or proxyregistrant.email for example.

Thank you so much for this. Was making my business email and was hit with the same offer to activate Domain Privacy. Some Domain Privacy provider seem so much like a scam, and uses fear to get people to pay them instead of genuinely trying to help.
