How come songs like these are so underrated? The melody, the lyrics; it's pure poetry and full of meaning. This song has been on play non-stop for hours since I heard it for the first time today and it will keep playing for a while, cause it is that good.

This song 👌 it makes me imagine taking a breath in cold air and breathing out steam. it makes me accept my lose and love the hurt that it effects me with, while also soothes me and reassuring me that this is alright. And I am not alone in these feelings

I've just listened to their full album on spotify after listening to Sold.Love the overall sound of their stuffs, the guitar,the beats everything.Only a handful of musicians can make me get hooked on any particular song during the first hearing.That's my personal rule, if i like the song on my first hearing, they will go to my playlist.That's how i fell in love with Jake Bugg,First Aid Kit,Glass Animals,The black keys and now Little May.

dash yankuro Yes! "Sold" is my favorite song too. They're currently working on their next album and I'm so excited. They are underrated, but not for long...And I am kinda sad that they'll get famous soon because then when you say you like Little May it means to other people that you are just trying to be "indie"...Regardless, we know good music when we see it!

Okay it's weird. The first time i heard that song, I was pretty sure it was a cover of a 90's song. Apparently not. This the line "And I can fight this with my hands But my head won’t let me", the melody seems familiar. Weird.

someone explain to me what the song video says before I attach my own stupid meaning into it :P
It's about a broken relationship between two people that is still going on. There are hints in the lyrics about cheating (the first verse says "I'm all you ever needed...", but the second verse says "...she's all you ever needed..") and the lyrics talk of bindings (promising faithfulness to your lover/marriage) and the repetition of cutting the bindings and tying them again, or leaving the relationship then continuing it again. One of my favorite lyrics, "Need you to give me back my lungs so my body can forgive me slow...and I can fight this with my hands but my head won't let me," describes the difficulty of leaving the relationship and how harmfully interconnected these people are to the point where breaking up is difficult no matter how dangerous their relationship is! Hope you enjoyed my analysis :)
