The universities have called the police to handle it as the students refuse to observe the law and the campus policies. It's like listening to your stereo loudly... you can do it within certain time frames but then you have to turn it off so that people can sleep.

A college professor in Florida where we don't feel safe speaking freely because of the laws in Florida and students also don't feel they have full academic freedom. In any event,it makes me sad to hear that graduation ceremonies are being cancelled. It's a big deal to end graduation ceremonies after all the eork the students have put in and Im not in support ofjust ending commencement because of protestors. I get it must be liability concerns, but they are punishing everyone for avtions of a subset of population.
