if you showed this to someone in the 18th century this would've been extremely revolutionary for their time
sorry but I'm afraid you just don't know what you're talking about. gunpowder was invented in china, in the mid 11th century, although they just used cannons, which eventually transformed into more agile "hand cannons" where it was more like a cannon on a big stick. even in the 1400s they had Arquebus, a weaker more standard version of the musket. by 1520, the short Arquebus had evolved into the longer musket, and by the late 1500s the longbow was abandoned completely. but by the 18th century?? by 18th century they already had pretty similar technology, the flintlock pistol. somebody trained could reload the flintlock pistol in just around 15 seconds, so this gun is more like if you took a flintlock and leveled it up in clash of clans. slightly faster reload, more damage, but it's not "extremely revolutionary" by any means, because by the 19th century they had revolvers, which beat out this gun by a lot. so I guess if you were in the 18th century and had this gun, you'd just have a very slightly superior gun for about 100 years, lol.

I'm surprised the gun is allowed to fire without the barrel. You would expect there to be something that locks the trigger when the barrel is off.
i think thats why the trigger does not lock in place. it would be way easier to backfire if the lock in place.

I recently bought a "double tap" pistol in 45, and discovered it broke my thumb in two places firing two rounds. I waited a couple weeks till my thumb was healed, and fired nine millimeter rounds, which were substantially easier and didn't break more bones. Very much similar physical experience to your firing that single shot, with about zero mass to reduce the velocity of the gun when firing. Works fine as "last ditch defense", not exactly comfortable to shoot. Thanks!
Hope your thumb recovered fully by now, I use my thumbs all the time for my woodworking hobby, so I can't imagine breaking em.

@@KePzez Yeah, one gun, unlimited ammo, but 6 seconds reload time, fully animated. Semi accurate at 15 feets. Still one hit in vitals(head/torso) is a kill. Any limb shot would disable that limb. Like a hit in a leg, and he can't run anymore, leaving a trail for others to finish the job if he don't bleed to death first. He is on a timer now!
Arm hit, he can't fire gun accurate. Two limb shots would kill in a shorter time period, with larger trail.
Last man standing, 5 guys, one house with a small yard and multiple exits. Like a home defence scenario. If you die, no respawn, only spectate. When only two remaining, spectators get audio, so they can tell on campers or cheer for the wounded guy about to bleed out. No secondary, no knives, no nothing but those loong 6 seconds for another chance. No timers, no closing bubbles, no rules. Gun is loud enough to reach end of yard, so when you DO fire, you position is compromised by all players.

This is actually much better than a Liberator.
The Liberator is horribly inaccurate. This is pretty accurate.
Reloading the Liberator is a huge pain, you often need a stick to get the fired round out. This reloads easily.
The Liberator seriously hurts your hands. This is slightly unpleasant.
The trigger on this gun is wonky but even with it it's more accurate.

In fact, You can beat it like it owes you money, and it will still love you back by being your obedient firearm. *Does it hold aim.? It certainly holds steady just as well as the others costing 5 x more.
*They must have a shitty warranty and bad customer Support right? Nope , its warranted for life and that carries over to any / every owner forever. You pay shipping to them and thats all.

@3/502 INF WIDOWMAKER i was referring to "modern flintlock" ,only using smokeless powder and cartidges. Flintlock guns have one of the most charming appareance,but the different power,lack of power and list of necessary tools is a huge turn off. A single shot replica like this gun would be sweet
