the old iconic songs attributed to roblox and the origins behind them are so interesting to me because while soundtracks like the "minecraft" OST or even the "a short hike" OST are songs made by someone the game's creator knew, or even the creator themselves, roblox's "soundtrack" is quite literally random audio files that some kid downloaded off of something like limewire, the newgrounds audio portal, or whatever shady music piracy websites that were around in the 2000s

I wanted to make this comment to just say thank you for making content for all these years. I remember finding your channel 4 years back and honestly it left a big impacted on my life. I remember 4 years ago I made my first friends on roblox and still am friends with them to this very day and we all reconnected this year not to mention I wouldn't be in the place I am now in my life if it wasn't for you. I had a crazy time in this community from making friends to playing the game u and your friends made. It has indeed been a wonderful trip and I want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for everything. Your videos truly made my life better and no matter where life takes you, with the highs and the lows I hope you are able to do the things you love, be the person you always want to be, and hope amazing things happen to you and while I know it is not your last video I just want to say thanks and hope you have a great one!

wow this was much more in depth than I thought, I have learned quite a lot in this video I'm also surprised how well explained the technicality of the sustained note in winds of fjords was this also goes to show how easy it is for your song to get lost, renamed, discovered by someone else to re-upload or resample it if you're a small artist

He said he is going to post a version more faithful to his original vision that not even the mod archive player can get. Also he didn't know about RIGHTEOUS PRODUCTS until i told him and yep he is mad, not with people making their own versions of winds of fjords, just stealing money and scaming.

These songs definitely have that early 2000's feeling, which is something I really endorse as a person who grew up in this era & enjoys electronic music. It is a shame that most of them are subject to copyright, though this does make sense considering Roblox's small popularity at the time. Now that Roblox is a well established platform worldwide, the days of getting away with using copyright material are long gone. Also, welcome back!

it'll definitely be surreal to see you go, especially considering that now that i think about it, i've been watching your stuff all the way back to the forum simulator days, but i'm also happy to see your journey with this channel finally come to an end. this video topic in particular, being all about roblox history, really got me thinking about how much of an impact being in this community for all these years has had on me. although i share the same sentiment of not being able to care about the platform much now, i could never forget all the memories and friends i made through it. all these goofy little videos from not just you, but people like phirefox, everythingismacabre and others, all shaped much of my childhood, and i likely wouldn't be the same person i am today without them. it's been one heck of a ride, and even after this channel is abandoned your content will always hold a special place in my heart, thank you. i wish you luck in whatever you choose to do next, i have no doubts it'll be great. :)

Too be honest, when I first some of the roblox ost, it was so wonky depending their style, or unless you'd find a place like be a DJ you'd be able to play most of the music.

Even though you never really gained much growth, I'd consider you one of the most important figures in the Roblox YT community because you were an example to many other kids who likely watched you that you could "make it big" by being a roblox creator as well. It's a shame that things have to end but all I hope is you find more success somewhere else considering that Roblox YT in general has declined to a point where the only figure of success is being loud, obnoxious, and just overly energetic with both your personality and editing style to keep the newer generations of attention-deficit children watching. I appreciate you for inspiring people like me to make videos even if I never get the same success, my own success in the community has been shortlived to say the least but I have had motivation for a while.

I can really tell the difference between the rika before the hiatus and the rika after the hiatus. Your wacky editing style seems to have calmed down a bit, as well as your speech. There's not really any crazy intro with boardy, it's just clean and straight to the point. I'm probably wrong about this stuff but it's just what I've seen.
Still upset about how much time I’ve wasted in my childhood on this game but you word it so well it almost makes me proud to hold these songs. I also wanna say the only old Roblox tune I can recall is Halloween_2 which isn't even a song but rather a sound slowed down to 0.1 which has been in most old Roblox horror games, such as survive the killers in Area 51, Haunted mansion clones and so many others I can't even name, with this being said it's sad to see this be almost your last video on Epikrika but it's understandable 100% Roblox is slowly becoming a void of endless clones of games and has many other problems I would really hope you do talk about in your finale. Whenever it's 5AM and I have nothing else to do, I come back to this video. I don't even know why, I just find it fascinating how stuff like this can come into existence. I wasn't around for this era of Roblox but I love all the mystique surrounding it.
I can clarify a little bit on nerezza. All of the separate tracks you can hear are native to Garageband circa 2006, and the song uses default tempo and fade-in/fade out transitions that came with GarageBand at the time. In other words, it’s baby’s first remix, for whoever made it.

With everything Roblox has done/is doing (IE the Metaverse thing), it does feel right for you to step down and charge into the sunset. Roblox isn't as good as it was years ago, and it's a sign that you have to cherish everything, cause you never know when it's gone. Before then... One last ride.

I joined in 2015, and many games/videos still used them out of nostalgia from those creators. Funny that nostalgia of someone else will indirectly affect us. I find nostalgia in all of these, yet never experienced “old” roblox.
@@CaptLinkster Nice. 2016 still had a bit of this old-ISH (heavy emphasis on ish) feel to it. Not necessarily the graphics or what not, but the community still had that sort of feel. This changed when those huge UA-camrs started making bank during the summer of it (DenisDaily being the largest one),but before their arrival, the website had a vague aura of still retaining it's community of players that it had back in the late 00s and early 10s. Eventually though it got too big.

i had this song in my old place in 2010. i don’t remember what it was called but it was an electronic song with vocals over it. but the vocals were through a vocoder. the words weren’t very clear. but it just goes to show you there were thousand of random songs that you’ll probably never hear again.

A UA-cam channel which shall be unnamed (Reflex75) otherwise, has falsely taken down many YT uploads containing the song Nezzera, a song created in 2001 most commonly associated with the unofficial ROBLOX soundtrack. This channel claims that he created it, and that everyone else has stolen “his” song.

Welcome back Epikrika! Early Roblox Music gives the feel of the early 2000s youtube(i.e. 2000s metal, trance, etc) which i personally have a liking for as I did grow up with early youtube.
While it’s sad to see you go, there’s of course the inevitability of this, as there’s more important things to life than just making these videos on this youtube channel. I just wanted to thank you for making the content you did, as it was, and still is some of the most unique style of roblox (and might even say just in general youtube as a whole) that I’ve yet to see in any other channel I’ve found. You may not have taken off like other channels, but you still met the quality and may I say surpassed the quality of bigger channels. Just want to say, while it’s been fun, I do wish the best for you in life once everything is all said and done with this channel and the last new video is uploaded.

I miss these songs every now and then. I played around the end of 2014, and I always remembered these random, varying in quality, songs. Really is a relic of the past.
it'll definitely be surreal to see you go, especially considering that now that i think about it, i've been watching your stuff all the way back to the forum simulator days, but i'm also happy to see your journey with this channel finally come to an end. this video topic in particular, being all about roblox history, really got me thinking about how much of an impact being in this community for all these years has had on me. although i share the same sentiment of not being able to care about the platform much now, i could never forget all the memories and friends i made through it. all these goofy little videos from not just you, but people like phirefox, everythingismacabre and others, all shaped much of my childhood, and i likely wouldn't be the same person i am today without them. it's been one heck of a ride, and even after this channel is abandoned your content will always hold a special place in my heart, thank you.

Too be honest, when I first some of the roblox ost, it was so wonky depending their style, or unless you'd find a place like be a DJ you'd be able to play most of the music.

Whether it was watching your egg hunt reviews or your in-depth review of a personal favourite of mine "outside." Even though you never really gained much growth, I'd consider you one of the most important figures in the Roblox YT community because you were an example to many other kids who likely watched you that you could "make it big" by being a roblox creator as well. It's a shame that things have to end but all I hope is you find more success somewhere else considering that Roblox YT in general has declined to a point where the only figure of success is being loud, obnoxious, and just overly energetic with both your personality and editing style to keep the newer generations of attention-deficit children watching.
I appreciate you for inspiring people like me to make videos even if I never get the same success, my own success in the community has been shortlived to say the least but I have had motivation for a while.

I can really tell the difference between the rika before the hiatus and the rika after the hiatus. Your wacky editing style seems to have calmed down a bit, as well as your speech. There's not really any crazy intro with boardy, it's just clean and straight to the point. I'm probably wrong about this stuff but it's just what I've seen.
Still upset about how much time I’ve wasted in my childhood on this game but you word it so well it almost makes me proud to hold these songs. I also wanna say the only old Roblox tune I can recall is Halloween_2 which isn't even a song but rather a sound slowed down to 0.1 which has been in most old Roblox horror games, such as survive the killers in Area 51, Haunted mansion clones and so many others I can't even name, with this being said it's sad to see this be almost your last video on Epikrika but it's understandable 100% Roblox is slowly becoming a void of endless clones of games and has many other problems I would really hope you do talk about in your finale. But will just have to wait and see, so thank you Rika for making some of the most classic Roblox videos on this platform, can't wait to see the ending to your journey!

Old Roblox music was all over the place. It was either caramelldansen or pure heavy death metal, and then literally everything in between.
Whenever it's 5AM and I have nothing else to do, I come back to this video. I don't even know why, I just find it fascinating how stuff like this can come into existence. I wasn't around for this era of Roblox but I love all the mystique surrounding it.
I can clarify a little bit on nerezza. All of the separate tracks you can hear are native to Garageband circa 2006, and the song uses default tempo and fade-in/fade out transitions that came with GarageBand at the time.
In other words, it’s baby’s first remix, for whoever made it.

With everything Roblox has done/is doing (IE the Metaverse thing), it does feel right for you to step down and charge into the sunset. Roblox isn't as good as it was years ago, and it's a sign that you have to cherish everything, cause you never know when it's gone. Before then... One last ride.

as a fairly new roblox player, i, somehow, vividly remember some of these songs, especially M.U.L.E and Runaway, a few years back. i don't know where exactly i've heard these songs, but i definitely remember hearing at least one of the songs featured in the video. video aside, welcome back, rika!
I joined in 2015, and many games/videos still used them out of nostalgia from those creators. Funny that nostalgia of someone else will indirectly affect us. I find nostalgia in all of these, yet never experienced “old” roblox.

@@CaptLinkster Nice. 2016 still had a bit of this old-ISH (heavy emphasis on ish) feel to it. Not necessarily the graphics or what not, but the community still had that sort of feel. This changed when those huge UA-camrs started making bank during the summer of it (DenisDaily being the largest one),but before their arrival, the website had a vague aura of still retaining it's community of players that it had back in the late 00s and early 10s. Eventually though it got too big.
I have been watching toasted cherries for a while now and i gotta say its a good alternative to your channel. WIsh you luck on your next journey!

i had this song in my old place in 2010. i don’t remember what it was called but it was an electronic song with vocals over it. but the vocals were through a vocoder. the words weren’t very clear. but it just goes to show you there were thousand of random songs that you’ll probably never hear again.

I’m honestly surprised at the roots of some of the old songs on Roblox. Obviously, as you mentioned, there was a lot of chance involved but I didn’t expect some of them to come from iMovie, as I don’t really use the songs there. I kind of want to know how much difference that changing a couple of the songs would have had on the memories of those days. But anyway, thanks for the video.

A UA-cam channel which shall be unnamed (Reflex75) otherwise, has falsely taken down many YT uploads containing the song Nezzera, a song created in 2001 most commonly associated with the unofficial ROBLOX soundtrack. This channel claims that he created it, and that everyone else has stolen “his” song.

I just wanted to thank you for making the content you did, as it was, and still is some of the most unique style of roblox (and might even say just in general youtube as a whole) that I’ve yet to see in any other channel I’ve found. You may not have taken off like other channels, but you still met the quality and may I say surpassed the quality of bigger channels.
