Suddenly were getting great phones with the flagship chips at nice prices. The IQOO 12, K70 Pro and the Realme GT5 Pro. It'll be interesting to see a software comparison since all of these are good enough in taking and viewing audiovisuals that without comparison wouldn't be a deal breaker, well unless you use the UW in the GT5 Pro. So I'd say the software makes the biggest difference.

Loved the decision Realme made. Large and high quality sensors for the main and telephoto lens. I rarely use the UW lens, and I think so do most people. Even flagships' UW are terrible in lowlight
I just wish they made the phone cheaper by ditching it altogether

@@TheMichaelparis the sensor reportedly has better light gathering capabilities. And it can be easily seen in the OPPO Find N3's camera samples. Far better output than Samsung's 1/1.3" 200 MP sensor.

This phone sounds almost too good to be true at this price. Good job Realme.
Its such a pretty phone. If it had a flat screen it might be my favorite looking phone of 2023.

1.1 - main camera , 1.2- telephoto in photo & video
2-speaker Audio
3-battery & charge & thermals or sustained performance after 30min loop
i think screens & designs are all good enough so no one need o prefer buying one over another in those areas.

Even if the phone priced at around $550 or $600, iQOO 12 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Pro, Vivo X100 Pro, Oneplus 12, you name it, realme GT 5 Pro conquer all those

Bro the only difference between OnePlus 12 and this phone is slightly higher screen resolution, better UW sensor, it has less cooling vc, weaker telephoto and yet this GT5Pro cost 120$ bucks less than Oneplus

All Chinese phones except xiaomi and Huawei has 4k60 on the ff cam that should be a must in 2023. People saying it's irrelevant are stupid. If 1080p is enough then fine use that but don't remove the 4k60 option.

Been viewing many videos and reviews of realme GT5 and GT5 Pro. Have been inquiring local realme dealers in malaysia about when can i get this phone, it seems that they dont have the slighest idea. Quite tired of waiting, might swtich to other brands .
Love Realme i have Realme 11 5g excellent phone
shame its missing some bands for my country , so looking into maybe IQoo 12 or Oneplus 12 , still happy with the xiaomi mi 11 performance and screen though might just replace the battery and hold out longer :)

I like software updates. It means my device still feels fresh and up to date. I bought a Realme 6 in 2020 it was meant to get 2 major updates and 3 years of security updates.
It got one major update and maybe two security patches before Realme announced its at its end of life.
On a galaxy now, next phone will be a pixel.
Pixels are not good😢 in real life ,just marketing!
I see Oneplus 12 gets 5 years. Not sure if GT5 pro gets the same. Pixel and the new Samsung gets 7 years.
5 years sounds ok to me. I will probably have the phone for 2-3 years anyway.
I have the Pixel 7, but it is back in the drawer, as the fingerprint sensor is HORRIBLE. Using the GT5 pro, and it is great. The only bad things are the chunkiness and no Global ROM.
What about software updates?
OTA for RealmeUI, also if you add Google Play.

I hope this will be "affordable"... Might just consider this over the iQOO 12. I don't like that the iQOO uses Omnivision sensors for its camera but it does have a 50MP UW camera. I take a lot of UW photos/videos so that's something I really have to consider...

The Onplus 12 and this GT5 pro just feels the same IMHO obviously coming from the same company but they just kinda shifted the entire camera setup to the middle instead of OnePlus12's slightly to the edge setup.
They get same hardware and sell it with different software and design. Ez money making with less efforts
