For a camera focused midranger this is an absolute win, nothing comes close. The only gripe is the performance but yeah for a midranger one must make sacrifices one way or another. It's just that Realme has some of the worst update policy on android. Wish they could fix it, it's not like they release 100 phones a year.
Love realme I have the 11 5g and the C55 plus the C53 .. super quick.. phones great specs.. and excellent cameras the zoom on the Realme 11 5g is excellent.. also the colours and styles of each phone is amazing.. thank you for this video

Finally we get telephoto on a probably sub $400 phone. I just hope this goes global too. Downside is of course that 8MP ultrawide 🤦🏻♂️
Midrangers uses to have telephoto cameras a few years back... Then they made it a flagship feature and left the segment with the borderline useless 8mpx UW and 2mpx macro combo.
Hope this is the start of a new trent reversal and telephoto bounces back to more midrange phones. They're far useful than macro cameras, and even Ultrawide ones.
it is global bro, launched in India today. and it is about 400 bucks (32,000 INR) there. better to buy the GT 5 pro tho. on account of the metal frame that helps with cooling and the better brighter and bigger screen.
@@ezsog8903 GT5 Pro is like $650 when it ever launches where I'm from. Also it's usually different with India and the rest of the world. Some specs woll change while others remains the same. If it's India only, it's not truly global. Especially when it uses different specs to what's sold in China or in the rest of the world.
@@dynamicvibe4248 same. For some reason it didn't became main stream for years for some reason probably due to megapixel war again. Otherwise, I'm just glad it's back. Zoom is a better focal point compared to ultrawide. But all 3 is better than nothing.

I have the Realme 12 p+ and you can continue recording while changing from main sensor to UW.
That said, quality between the main and ultra wide camera are too different, so it doesn't look too good. (Unless you're recording in bright daylight)
Good phone but i don't care about camera. Display & performance is all i need. Already have 778g . Only 8gen2 or better will make me upgrade.

IMO Mobile companies should explore different needs of potential buyers and not make a cut down version of their flagship and sub-flagship phones!
Even Samsung with a handful of devices per year got rid of the curved screen on its flagship line due to buyers demands!
Maybe a side mounted fingerprint sensor is a box to check!
