When I first got into K-Pop I searched about H.O.T, Finkl, Seo Taiji, Shinhwa, S.E.S, Baby Vox.. etc because I love K-Pop and want to know who are the artists our favorites looks up to :)
I just don’t understand how they don’t know…. Like how have they never ..??
Omg FINALLY someone appreciates Cabi for what it is
2nd generation is the best generation ever
I'm fall in love with all the group because the were all amazing💕😍💕😍
An ELF passed by
I absolutely agree with you :D
This whole video just filled me with a warm feeling. Thank you.
This just made me feel so old. I miss the 2nd generation groups so much. 😭 there wasn’t much fan wars and fandoms got along and each artist got their respect. And artists could collaborate with no worries about fans fighting or throwing fits. Idols didn’t get as much hate as they do now from anti fans. It was just a good generation for Kpop. I feel like these came out yesterday. 🤣 I’m only 23 end feel so old. Now don’t get me wrong, I love slot of new Kpop groups but these songs will always have a place in my heart.
TEEN TOP and B.A.P. were also awesome back in the days
2nd gen was not all rainbows and unicorns but the hardships still exist until 3rd gen, and much worse now if you ask me. What we miss about this generation is that KPOP was considered more than the artist itself. We were happy to hear another comeback no matter who released it, even if it wasn't the group we mainly stan. Collabs are completely normal and competition was a fun thing back then.
I mean can you imagine BTS having a collab with Twice now without receiving dangerous and possible death threats? (2PM and SNSD were able to do it) Can you imagine one of the Stray Kids joining we got married? Can you imagine talking about how much you like CLC to a reveluv? Multifandom is completely normal back then, we can stan several groups without being called unloyal and stuff
@@hilde9520 EXACTLY omg this I agree so much with what you said if in honest too new kpop fans ARE NOT CHILL i remember back in elementary everyone kinda just kept to themselves and if you grooved with it you grooved and possibly made a new friend! And should I even mention the fact that it feels like 4th gen kpop fans seem to discredit older kpop gens :/ Like you can't even mention that it was international already without a kpop Stan talking about how BTS made kpop international 😟 like
HAH legit without 2nd gen we would NOT have the pop in kpop 😩
Anyways Hope u wasn't rude!!!! :D I just agree huhu
@@UwU-lm9or oh no no, I was just stating an opinion! But yes, 4th gen kpop fans love to discredit the older generations and no offense but Armys do that a lot and all the time but BTS have so much respect for their seniors.
@@hilde9520 don't worry I agree with it :D sorry I meant to say I hope I wasn't rude but it was autocorrected and don't worry I totally agree with all of your opinions I also know BTS fans can be good and bad too kinda with anything ofc but for sure! I'd like to think BTS themselves too respect other artists and such :D especially other kpop artists ofc
But gosh the newer fans can't even experience a good concert or Collab without toxicity and all that stuff being relevant
You know low-key was hoping gen 4 was gonna be a new generation where it could be similar to 2nd gen where there were alotmof collars, songs, albums, etc
However I was wrong 💀💀 now I don't have hope I kinda still am reminiscing the 2nd and 3rd gen just to relive how golden it was 😔✌️
I'm still glad though that there's fans out there like you who may have been new but at least respect other groups I think that's all we wanted SORRY I KEEP REPEATING MYSELF LOL
but still! Have a great day!! And if there is people like you still out there we may be in too deep of toxicity however fans like you can prevent that huhu B) if anyone is toxic to you because they are yikes
I believe in you person B) there's always some evil that gets outlived with good huhu
LMFAOO I NEEDA STOP alright HAVE A GOOD DAY!! and hope I wasn't rude!!
I WASN’T EXPECTING CABI CABI TO BE HERE BUT YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT
Omg remember when Bo beep was all they'd cover on variety shows? Man, I miss this era
back when the quality of the songs was first priority
Gen 2 is legendary, we all can sing along with the song and they all make Kpop become famous
i am so glad of myself that i knew and love 38 songs in these videos
ahhh i am gonna miss 2nd gen kpop so much
I’m Soo glad I grew up in this Era!
Me, who started to listen to kpop this year: wow, what a trip down memory lane 🤭
(about 90% of what I listen to are 2nd and 3rd generation girl groups though, their music just hits different. 9muses my beloved)
Although I really admire 1st gen because they are a blueprint I must admit that 2nd gen established the genre and they are an icon. Respect for those who paved the way so rest could run 🏃♂️🙏
The fact I can sing all of them meanwhile I only got into kpop in 2018 proofs how iconic 2nd gen is
i got into kpop in 2015 when i was 9 years old, i only know 2nd gen groups and hardly know 3rd or 4th gen groups 😐 even tho most of my fav groups sadly arent active, i still stan :/
@@balladmusicrules I know quite a lot of 4th gen groups (I guess???) but I stan none of them, even tho I got into K-pop when 4th started
@@balladmusicrules But it's normal. I think 4th gen stans are only kpop stans who got into kpop in 2020 and so on
@@gabriela-id8jb yeah lol and most of them dont know 2nd gen groups too
@@balladmusicrules They don't even know who Taeyeon is lmao It's painful lol
The 2nd gen of kpop music just iconic and what i still singing until now lol
SAME
I'm 22 but my 14/15 year old self is soo happyyy ahh and this is so nostalgic, I miss thoseee timess My 2nd Generation Golden Era✨
some of these might count as 3rd gen oops thank you for the support!!! there will be more videos coming soon :)
And I knew all the songs. I was so dedicated to 2nd gen. Now I only listen to Seventeen and TXT.
2nd gen is where i start know about kpop
I am so amazed at myself knowing all of this song. Well I started being a kpop fan since 2009 when 2ne1 debuted. 2ne1, T-ara and Miss A ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love second generation, third generation, AND present day kpop. I should get more into the first gen. too! All paved the way for groups after them and are important for forming present day and future Kpop.
2nd gen aka the best generation of kpop.
Edit: OH MY GOD I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT CABI CABI I WAS OBSESSED- Thanks for introducing me to it again.
Watch the whole video without skipping once.
Proud to say i know 34 of this songs by heart.
These songs complete my highschool life.
as a kpop fan from 2009 I find that so many songs I never liked back then really grew to be so iconic like the vibes just hit so hard 🥺
1:27 the first kpop song i’ve ever heard in my life
Mine was 2ne1's falling in love
I would change some of these songs with
Sistar19 - ma boy
Afterschool - because of you
2pm - ill be back
t-ara - lovey dovey
mblaq - cry
secret - magic
cn blue - love girl
f(x) - nu abo
Ft island - i wish
beast - shock
taecyeon baek jiyoung - candy
Loyal SNSd here.
I love all these grps but Super junior is still my favourite💙
For ever ELF
Same Suju is my whole heart
Proud ELF here, Super Junior for live
The evolution changed so much over the years. I first listened to kpop in 2006. There was no such thing as fan wars and get the most views in the videos. Tbh I feel even the fans became more toxic and I think it is such a shame, kinda miss the 2008/2014 era :(
2nd generations kpop group is the best n they more looks for quality ,not beauty looking ,
SISTAR a.k.a THE SUMMER QUEENS OF KPOP 💗
I'm just going back every time to this
Apink should be in the list since they're the only 2nd-G gg who's still active till now
All we can do is reminisce 😭 a 2nd Generation KPop trash here. Started back in 5th Grade feat. SuJu's Sorry Sorry and now still a KPop fan ❤️
90% i can sing this song..mean i from 2gen..😃
*i miss this era
Awww.... Super Generation as finale.. 😭😭😭😭
Ring Ding Dong is my alarm sound 😂
May I ask where B.A.P is? I mean they were a big deal in 2nd gen... I mean do you remember how Warrior just blew up and they had the biggest rookie debut concert until then?
B.A.P, MBLAQ, VIXX, B2ST mannn there are so many
BAP is 3rd gen
@@CapNsTrider isn't NU'Est then too? They debued in the same year...
@@maidream3639 Nu'Est are 3rd generation. 2nd generation were from 2003 (I actually think is more 2004, but is used as a start 2003 because TVXQ debuted at decembre of that year) to 2011 (2003-2007 2nd gen, 2008-2011 2.5 gen). 2012 Is the start of 3rd generation, even if in 2011 it can be dare that there was a change, groups like A-pink, B1A4 and Block B were different from the 2nd generation groups.
@@jexyjs okay just because they were featured in this Video :)
Yes stan super junior!!!!
I feel so bad for not finding out about these groups all along. I got into kpop in the summer of 2016. I'm so late
Also 2nd gen visuals are soooooo good like they're all so pretty and Handsome
I wish that Y2K becoming popular again brought more recognition to 2nd gen
I thought i was the onlyone being dramatic on my own but seeing fellow old fans comments here now im sure kpop was really better back then
When you know all the songs. "Man, I'm old"😂
I know most of the songs yet I'm just 16.
Same 😊😊
And I'm 12. Music transcends age- it can be enjoyed no matter who you are.
i'm 14 wHAT

Anyone still goosebumps every time The boys is played? Can you believe some people think Nu'est is a new group? 😂
I almost cried, specially because those who are not with us any more.
I so desperately wanna be a K-Pop fan again…I left the K-Pop fandom at the beginning of 2019 after five years of hardcore stanning as I didn‘t like how the music changed so drastically to appeal to this new found global audience but man, those five years was the best time of my childhood and teenage years ngl 🥲 I‘m seeing this and just wish for K-Pop to come back to this…

I love kara step ❤️
I know them all
I'm a 3rd-4th gen kpop fan but 1st and 2nd gen kpop groups are just GOLD!!! Lately I've gotten into groups like tvxq (yes, I do support jyj aswell!!) And I've noticed how, nowadays, people in the kpop community tend to discredit older kpop groups when they were and still are the literal blueprint of kpop. Really wished you could've added more tvxq / JYJ songs! Cause their discography is exquisite!! Anyway, 2nd gen supremacy!
I loved tvxq so much that I even have tattooed one of the tattoos jaejoong have. Moronic is catchy but they deserve more recognition than this. The Fandom was HUGE
THANK YOU SO MUCH omg finally someone from the newer gen who gets our feelings! I can finally re-retire as a former 2nd gen xD
Lmao I'm kidding but this is all I wanna say 2ne gen wanted because 2nd gen was the foundation and everything for the pop in kpop 😩 and I feel like newer gens think we're idk like attacking them or smthn but it feels like the newest gen (4) tends to use the argument that is "but BTS made kpop international" which irritates the hell out of me :""0
Also I like 3rd gen music very catchy however I prefer more of the 2nd one cause I guess it has to do with the power in the song and how catchy it was and everything you know? Especially the concepts too!! It was so cool tbh :D
Also YOOO I think I remember that group it's so nostalgic 😩
Infinite my fav💙💙💙
and omg teentop and infinite and BAP toooo
You forgot VIXX and glad you put B1A4 my first stans!
I'm a kpop stan from 2nd gen, this feels nostalgic. This video is basically my playlist lol. Miss them so much.
I know most of these and they bring back memories
Even though I joined Kpop fandom at the beginning of 3rd Gen.
New Kpop stand should listen to these too!
