And a +1 to the dev team, the fact that such custom roads don't cause bugs at juctions is quality programming. Those junctions auto route all the lanes correctly, amazing

If you want smaller platforms, City Planner discovered that you can use pavement instead for a similar effect. There's an override setting in the menu to ignore network type, allowing you to use everything on every network

This is probably the best mod I've seen. If you make the mediums slightly smaller, you'd loose less zoning. In the transport hud try deleting the pedestrian+tram road and placing it again, maybe it'll connect to the custom one

@25.50 the turn is very sharp that is why it is not connecting
the soluton is that you put the bus lanes on the outside and tram lane on the inside (towards the middle)
Or use the move it mod to move the node away from the junction to have a wider turn
No I think that won't work because the turn would still be very sharp for trams to take it
I just use the traffic mod to get rid of the switches on all the trams, trains, etc. The crosscovers are a bit wonky anyway. It's just more efficient to make your own crossovers. I either get rid of them entirely or a stretch them out with MoveIt. That usually gets them to stop that weird switching.
@20 mins the red line couldn't turn right either because the corner was too tight (use MoveIt Node mode to expand the turn radius) or because _Traffic_ had previously been used maybe, but even if it hadn't you could have checked if the line could be reconnected... but probably the turn being too tight. If you use _Traffic_ on the new join point you can remove various movements which will likely put back the central median.
And just gonna say... it wasn't _Infrastructurist_ that "discovered" the custom platforms... ahem...
_RB_ is indeed the Dog's Whotsits! Some very nice new uses there Egg. Very spicy... just pondering making a 3-track station segment with a bi-directional middle track as well, for allowing through traffic... but probably more sensible to have 4-tracks... hmmm...
I realized after a little! I reckon that whole junction wants turning into a super node, theres loads of shit coming into it now! Well I found out from Infra lol :P

I think I heard mention that empty businesses may be linked to the homeless bug. It took a combination of the Economy 2.0 update, Bye Bye Homeless mod, and demolishing buildings to get my vacant industry and commercial building populated. Additionally, I could not get any office demand until I lowered office taxes (down to 10% IIRC).

I'm loving the road builder mod, I've used it mainly for my tram network. I want to improve my BRT network with it, but I wasn't sure how I wanted it, but this video has given me a few ideas, thank you

Getting ideas of a custom BRT/Tram convergence point with this mod, it’s awesome!
where your ped bridge comes down to ground inbetween the tracks, You could raise the terrain level with the dual tram tracks or close to, to create the step you like. if you leave the other platform height then you would have a small step up to that anyway.

240 as capacity for your tram isn't crush capacity. There is a bit of overhead for your trams in the crush capacity. Crush Capacity is when people are "Crushed together" on a tram, train, or bus.
Love the potential of the road builder! Didn't realise there's one for CS1, will have to take a look. For the tram line that didn't want to turn right could it just be that the node needs stretching out a bit? The turn looked a bit tight for trams.
Not sure if it's because of the sharp turn that the tram track didn't connect near the hub... Could be the custom road too, but you should use the Traffic mod... If you hold Alt, or control or something it has a transport connection mode to connect the tram track manually.
There is a Stairs and Paths Assets Pack by F_thx which may help with the step up to the platforms, won't let me add link, anyway great vid as per usual :)
Whilst I liked the original railway station I think it looks better with the formal platforms! And maybe carbon box stairs could weave into the lore somehow
21:10 Hey, Egg, with the double bus lanes side by side on the inside of the custom road with the tram, where are passengers supposed to safely board and disembark from the buses? Only the innermost bus lane touches the median. Wouldn't passengers on the outer lane have to cross a lane of traffic to get on and off the bus?

The only problem I see with the custom road you made, you placed the clinic on the side with the light rail. How do people get the clinic by car, and how does the ambulance get out? Similar with the post office.

It’s probably worked out already at this point, but I think all the demands are non existent because of the taxes being too high

Maybe you can help me. I'm playing around Road Builder but I can't seem to pull it off. I want to use a Pedestrian Street with Tram. This works easily using Road Builder mod. But I want to put a City Hall adjacent to it. However, the "No Car Access" icon pops up. I want the road to be exclusive to pedestrians and Tram only. How can I remove the "No Car Access" for this kind of scenario?
Also, considering the customized road stated above, will Service Vehicle also use the Tram line, or maybe the Pedestrian walkway, if needed?
