Lmao i relate to the ant story. I used to collect rollypollys(search them up if you don't know what they are) and put them in my pencil case. And I would always wonder why they would be in pieces the next day.

Actually, your taste buds do change 30,000 feet in the air. But they change by making it so we taste less flavors. It's possible the flavor of apple juice wasn't as strong as a result of this, making it more enjoyable. 🤷♂️

fun fact, food does indeed taste different at higher altitudes. this it due to the lower pressure and humidity. they combine to largely neutralize your taste buds and smell.

Actually, your taste buds do change whenever in a plane. The reason plane food is always so bland is because the altitude dulls your taste.
When you're flying, your sense of taste and smell gets reduced
