true! this one time my church group did one, we were running low on time and didn't find the key (we were robbers trying to get a diamond) so we used a card we had to unlock the container (We got in the room with the diamond legit) but since we didn't expect how we were suppose to, the people didn't count it >:(

I did an escape room with three older cousins and everything went normal in the beginning. There's one part that you have to turn things on the ceiling but we didnt know. However, when we were so close to finishing we didnt know what to do. (they didnt give us any hints either) So we were still trying to solve when times up. The gamemaster comes up to the room and show us the correct way to escape. Apparently two of my cousins was salty after it ended. It didnt know why that why because i was still really young but i know why.
My favorite is "The mental institution" and we were blindfolded at the beginning! it was so rad!!!
I realize how much me and Chilly both have in common. We both went to private schools, we both like K-pop and a lot of the same tv shows. Honestly, I idolized chilly-this was a long rant skcjdjcj
Every time I do an escape room and there is a loud noise my entire group screams. Like a door opening a window closing an alarm all that. One time we screamed so much I swear I could here the game master laughing at us, he took pitying and gave us hints.

By the way, if you're ever in Colorado, there's this place called Enigma in Boulder that does escape rooms that are completely next level. I've done a _lot_ of escape rooms as well, from a lot of places, and none of them can top the ones Enigma make.

I did an escape room where there was a table with a map on it and you had to put figures on certain places. Then, a trapdoor underneath the table opened up and you crawled through a tunnel to the next room. It was fun and we almost escaped.
I did a Frankenstein escape room with a full on lab, dead corpse on an operating table, and in the next room over there were animatronics. Unfortunately it was the hardest room they offered and didn't complete it.

First time I tried an escape room was during a school trip and it wasn’t even a proper escape room. Instead of being stuck in only one room, you had to go around and enter rooms with different challenges to gather points in a limited time. It wasn’t that fun because I didn’t know anyone in my team (and we kinda sucked). When I tried a real escape room it was a lot more fun because I did it with my mom and sister. We did end up panicking and just started arguing lol.
I worked at an escape room and the guy who made the puzzles made chirs angel' s magic tricks. Only drawback from the creator is he thinks everyone is stupid. But here's a hint to all escape rooms there are a lot of red herrings. Sometimes you might think it's important but it might be just there for aesthetics.

i worked for a escape room before as a game designer. They wanted me to make scavenger hunts tho so i made it a little more interesting and made them a take home escape room that you played around the city.

I love escape rooms but i always freak out just before I go in because my local escape room centre puts blindfolds on you and spins you around before you go in and it’s scary asf and I ended screaming at the top of my voice and clinging on to the strangers around me the first time I went in and they all judged me so bad 😅

Escape Rooms i would pay out of the nose to experience. Keep in mind these Escape Rooms are based off of fictional shows and video games that i personally am a big fan of since i can't handle horror very well and mentally just check out if its a generic spy, bank heist, or masquerade theme. In short they need to be featured in theme parks where the actors for the properties can record lines that get triggered by each success and/or failure that participants make. Also each of these will be multi room escape rooms.
Totally Spies/Amazing Spiez where participants are trained by the main characters, Sam, Alex, and Clover from TS, or the Clark Siblings from AS, to be new WOOHP agents. Given gadgets that interact with different puzzles to test problem solving skills.
Sly Cooper. Similar to the Totally Spies and Amazing Spiez escape room, only you are recruited by Bentley and Murray to help find clues to Sly's Whereabouts...since we are still without a Sly 5 game...or it could be when Sly met Bentley and Murray when they were little kids in the Orphanage. You and two friends take on the role of the baby Cooper Gang in their very first heist which was to steal Ms. Puffin's Cookie Jar. Everything would be scaled as if you are a toddler/little kid and you have to figure out how to get to the cookie jar and escape.
Code Lyoko perfect substitute for Horror and can have different varieties with how XANA's possession ability often reeks havoc. From possessing people, machines, animals, etc. your job is to get to the factory and help Aelita get to the activated tower in Lyoko. It could even implement VR or Holograms to recreate the Lyoko environments. Very expensive to set up initially and to maintain with so much technology needed but would probably make a killing with it's ambition.
Persona 5. an edgier Sly Cooper heist concept where you have to help the Phantom Thieves escape guided by Futaba and Kitty Morgana.
And finally Twisted Wonderland. After seeing the Reincarnation of Hades from Hercules (aka Idia Shroud) and my-er HIS baby brobot, Ortho's Twisted idea of a game by trapping Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil, Vil, Epel, Rook, and You the main character with a bunch of deadly ink monsters AS THEY TRY TO ESCAPE MASSIVE DEADLY INK MONSTERS BYTHEBY...i thought to myself..."I need to experience this IRL, if not for fun then atleast to feel like i could potentially get a slice of my lazy lion dreamboat, why yes i am a gay simp for the reincarnation of Scar from the Lion King-oh wait...he's not real...why is reality so cruel?! 😭
I only gone to an escape room twice (and it was the same one)but I really want to go to more. in the one I'm talking about we solved puzzle and the safe we thought was for decoration opened up and a new room was revealed. It also incorporated elements of the previous room into the one we were now in. It was really cool and when I can leave the house again I'm going back.

you should watch Busted! on Netflix, it's a Korean variety show where these invited celebrities (the cast) solve crime and puzzles in the outside world, similar to real life scenarios (including escape rooms). There are 10 episodes in each season (theres 1S so far but S2 is coming next month). There's a big storyline with the whole show but each episode has a new case the "detectives" have to solve.
In my home town, Madison you should do Escape This! or escape in time. In escape this there's this one room where, for reasons, it's adults only, and it's supposed to be a drunk driving scene or something (I'm not an adult yet, I haven't done it) and the schtik is you have to do the whole thing wearing those drunk vision goggle thingies.

If you want a cheap escape-room-like-thrill you should try throwing a murder mystery party! Make it potluck style, have a theme for people to dress up to, people have to solve the mystery.... they're so much fun!

I always wanted to do an escape room. I am looking at one right now.
I remember doing my first escape room when I went to London with my mates it was a lot of fun and we managed to do it within the time but the only problem we had was that the locks we're a bit faulty
me and my pals did 1, we got out with 2 minutes to spare....it was rlly fun I've been meaning to do another one. the backstory to this was we were in like a post apocalyptic bunker and our oxygen was running out.........the escape room even got steamy after a while it was rlly cool. (this thing had 3 rooms and to keep oxygen and power going u had to use this weird bike, to get to the 2nd room u had to shoot a gigantic roach and the 3rd room was right next to the 1st but u had to do a lot of stuff to get to it. the room had a 30% chance of getting out)

I’ve done one escape room and it was so. We failed bc the people I went with are super close friends and I was the 5th wheel (I’m friends with one person from the group) and I figured it out but no one listened to me. I figured it out with 15 minutes left and tried to get them to listen to me but they wouldn’t even let me try typing in the code to the door that would’ve let us out. It was a murder on a train escape room. It actually felt like we were on the train. I want to do more but none of my close friends are interested it doing one

One time my friends and I did this medieval times themed escape room and we were doing exceptionally well. So there was this chest in our first room and we eventually got it open toward the end. There were three wizard books we had to pick from, a red a blue and a green book. If we didn’t pick the right book, we lost. If we picked the correct book, we win. Apparently there was something we opened up that hinted us which was the correct book, but everyone overlooked it and since there was less than 2 minutes left, we just chose the green one and turned it we were right. Our guy told us about the hint and we were all mind blown that we somehow guessed it right anyway.
