Im just a novice but it looks crazy as you go down 7 and black must be thinking hes playing a moron!!Also it seems to be pretty regular moves that black would make to achieve this trap unlike some other traps which need specific combinations that black doesnt complete enough
In the knight movement solution, the reason why rook can't take the knight because :- Nc7 check - Rxc7, Qxh8 check and then nothing can stop the backrank mate❤❤❤

Today I defeated a player online with the Nakhmanson gambit but the game went in a completely different variation which isn't shown here. I first became very worried thinking that maybe I messed up something. But no I actually didn't mess up anything. Actually the opponent played a very different move which isn't shown in this video. It resulted in a long game and I couldn't finish it fast. But yes I was always in a dominating position in the whole game. Very comfortable victory. This gambit is really one of the BEST gambits in the history of chess💖💖💖💖💖💖. So what happened in my game is that in this position-2:06 my opponent didn't play anything like what you showed. Instead he played the move pawn takes b2. Then I first captured the knight with my rook and gave check and then I captured the pawn on b2 with my bishop. I had to capture the pawn on b2 with my bishop otherwise he would capture my rook and promote to a queen and I would be in big trouble. This become a very different game and I was all on my own. It was a long game but I was always dominating the game and had a comfortable win. You missed showing this variation in your video. It's okay it's understandable as you are also after all a human bro🙂. We miss out things no matter how much we try. No one's perfect. A new video suggestion from me. You can make a part 2 of this video showing this variation if you want bro.

Solution to chess puzzle: Rook to A7 check, King to B8 is forced. Then the rook sacrifice A8 check, king is forced to take. Then queen to A7 is a beautiful checkmate. If I got it right then please let me know :)
I think the best move in that position is that Rook D7 to D8 Then black capture the rook after that white goes for Queen G7 to A7 Then it's a beautiful checkmate
Doesn't work because black doesn't have to capture. They can play Qf4+ and after the king is on D1(no other move), they can capture with check and you are down 2 rooks and getting mated.

Doesn't work because black doesn't have to capture. They can play Qf4+ and after the king is on D1(no other move), they can capture with check and you are down 2 rooks and getting mated.
