G&W put out 3 limited releases some years ago, Little Trinity 17 year (3 grain) 90 proof, Eleven Souls (11 different casks) 98 proof and 49 Wellington 19 years Winter Wheat 98 proof. All were very good
I'm so glad you came out with this video. I've seen the Bhakta around my area but been hesitant beacuse I didnt know much about it even though i own other Bhakta bottles. Cheers and thank you! 🥃
Awesome review! Cheers man. I have to say Bhakta 1928 is special, I did get batch 2 after email I received from them, it's absolutely delicious The only concern I had was that calvados not going to overpower,it didn't so balanced ,I love that you actually can taste old Armagnac, Rye is smooth. No eucalyptus! This bottle is so well balanced and it's so dangerously delicious. I had to stop myself from drinking it one day It does not drink like 50 ABV. I have to admit I did order 2 more bottles, I do think it's a unique blend. I do not know what category you will put in but it is delicious.
Great to hear that about Batch 2 (sounds identical to 1)! Their drinkability is ridiculous, and I might even try one of their cocktail recipes. Thank you for the input and cheers!
Highly thinking about the Bhakta, is the “grandmas cellar” note similar to what I would call “frunk” that you get with a Dickel 15 or an Elijah Craig 18? Or is it something else entirely? Thanks for the great reviews!
It's more an old rancio type note - so think dustiness (like old clothing) and earthiness (like a damp cellar or mushroom). It can occasionally have some pungent blue cheese notes as well - but the 1928 doesn't really have that note. I hope that helps a bit and cheers!

Lot40 (plain one) has just entered to our market. Do you advise it or shall I seek for Gooderham?
They're both good and different, but I'd seek the Gooderham first. Cheers!
