In early 1960s Balachander Sir vicited Madras Sangeetha Vadyalaya ,where Dr.Sambamoorthy Sir was ,the Diorecter and I was a student learning violin ( from pro:Sambamoo:) ,still remembering,when the staf gave him a small special veena too the great musician and he commented why U couldn"t make thos a little more flattened--I added that then it would be place at lapse ...listening this Blachander said ( in Tamil) 'correct" !
