every once an a while i come back to this video to remind myself about how 2k used to car about gameplay and the variety of builds that could be made. i had this build and the sharpshooting athletic and a playmaking rim protector. it sucks that 2k makes games where everyone picks the same 3 builds and nobody has any variety nowadays.
Since you’ve never tried a pure lockdown, try out 6’10” midweight lock. Every match up is a mismatch. If you’re on a big then you’re faster than them, if you’re on a guard you’re stronger than them. The ability to post cheese is incredibly reliable on it. Plus if you’re comfortable with your jump shot timing you can hit from anywhere
No lie, post/stretch the most OP. Literally the cheesiest. Now if you run the post/lock with the post/stretch and have a twoway guard; theres no way you're losing again.

shooting badges doesn’t make a difference i green almost all my shots with my 95 Lock some people call me a glitch cause I pull limitless greens, id say the best thing bout this build are the post scoring badges
In my Opinion I think the most toxic, annoying and unstoppable build is a 94 Shot Post because they can finish inside and post fade from super deep and when they have takeover u have to play up otherwise it’s a post fade and when u do play up it’s a post spin or dropstep

I got to say that I relay enjoy your videos and learning a lot from, it's been pleasure, thank you very much for that. as for this video, I got to say I have a shot creating defender, and before I got into build this player I compared 3 builds with defending primary, one is the sharpshooting defender, next one is the shot creator defender, and last one is the post scoring defender. well I know it comes down to whatever type of game play you like to play and who is your teammates, but I feel the shot creating defender is the most exciting build from these 3 builds, he's faster, he can spread the floor better than the post scorer because he has better 3pt shoot, and he can shot difficult shots better than the others. tell me about your thoughts of this please.. and I would be happy to give you my player to play on soon as I'll get him to decent overall, right now I'm 90 overall, not all badges maxed yet.. thanks a lot bro!
Have you used a Post Stretch? Thats what my friend uses. He starts the game with a bunch of Post shots and bullying. Then he will just sit in the corner and let his man sag off. Then he hits the 3. It’s crazy! Keep up the 🔥 vids. I wish I can sub and like multiple times.

I myself love playing with lock down archetype I have a post scoring lock this year but I messed up his built, so yesterday actually i made a two way point forward you should try that build bro....super OP and toxic. Next year I am going to try and get my post scoring lock down right and get him to 99 so that hopefully we can make a video together. I have been playing with nothing but randoms this year since my nephew is gone from 2k. But I am looking for good decent players to make some videos and perhaps get started on my own UA-cam chanel.
