Awesome, the last time the wife and I was there we met to go to Oasis I'm retired military so we stay at Nellis AFB, I think that the next time we go to Vegas we might stay their next time.
You have probably already checked out the Thousand Trails Park but yes it is tight. Our first two visits were with a 35 ft class A and our third trip ( 1 month ago ) was with our 42 ft. class A with a tow dolly with a 4dr car on it. We just get the car off the dolly, unhook the dolly, back in the RV, push the dolly next to the RV and parked the car in front of the dolly, next to the RV. Yes it isn't as nice as the other 2 and doesn't have the amenities but is free if you are a member. I like how close it is to Sam's Town, I love to visit Mystic Falls and sit and enjoy the area. Safe travels.
We had watched quite a few videos on the TT Las Vegas park, and while we are members and happy to be, it was not quite the size and feel that we wanted for this trip to Las Vegas. That may not always be the case, but for this visit we wanted to be as close to the strip as well as have some more space. We had seen Oasis on @TheMotorcoachExperiment 's videos and wanted to splurge for once. We do appreciate the draw of FREE though.
So we use the Rand McNally OverDryve (sp) system. You may have seen the screen at the start of the drive video and then Ann turned it off and removed it from its charging cradle as we waited to make the left turn. So during the turn you see just the charging cradle. Hope that helps.
@@RunawaywithUsRV Ohhhhh I was like going what is that thing is it like some little satellite antenna or something hahahahaha because I drive a big truck for a living so you know I have like two phones on my dashboard a backup camera screen sometimes a GPS and I'm going I've never seen anything like that before what is that for that's why I was asking you hahahaha
NO! Oasis RV park is too far off the strip requiring ride share.6 miles to the Mirage hotel and middle of the strip. $10 per ride one way or 20 dollars for ride share round trip back per day is Oasis is 54-77 dollars + 20 Dollars(ride share)=97 per night (Did you come to Las Vegas to use the strip or an RV park?) Circus Circus RV park (on the strip) walking distance to everything. 46-73 dollars per night RV Park Amenities: cons: its a parking lot. Aren't they all. But easy to park 45 foot motorhome No ride share needed Pet Run Dump Station - RV Guests Only Laundry Facilities Swimming Pool (Seasonal) Hot Tub (Seasonal) 30 and 50 Amp Hookups with Water, Sewer and Electricity Children's Play Area Use of the (Hotel Pool, Slides and Splash Zone) for RV Guests is $10 per person, per day.
That is all great information. We have a tow vehicle so we did not think about the cost of needing to take a ride. Thanks for informing everyone about another possible option..
The LVM looked pretty cool. So did the Oasis! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, we enjoyed Oasis but LVM looks really interesting too.
Oasis is our Las Vegas favorite.

What is that antenna type thing on your dashboard when you're making the left turn into start of the video ?
