@@ophello Pocket refers to where you place the drum hits (usually snare and kick) in relation to the metronome. A pocket is when you place them very slightly after the metronome. It's what gives this really laid back relaxed feeling. It feels good and feels like every beat hit's perfectly where it should. In the soul :) Everyone in the band needs to be in on it for it to work, the bassist and the drummer in this case are perfectly synched and are in the pocket.

@@computer_toucher Another series that Joshua has done a lot of reactions to is the "Zildjian Live" and "VFJams Live!" series. I think between the two of those series, there is more stank faces per capita than any other group of musicians I've ever seen. And rightfully so! The group of musicians that Sput put together for both of those sessions should be called "Stank-Note" instead of "Ghost-Note", lol.

You catch yourself just sitting there smiling awestruck while goosebumps rise everywhere as the song progresses. This is a masterpiece imo, it stuck instantly in my mind and i've played it several times per day since the song was released. Fantastic.
I have come to believe all of us have a little piece of God with in us, some a little bigger than others. Obviously, alone good, maybe even great, but when you pull them all together you get THIS. I remember watching their first video a few years ago and been totally sold. These guys are brilliant musicians, superb not only at their instrument but the composition is amazing. If they hit mainstream which they totally could with this song, sonic wise, a lot of pop artists will be in real trouble if this ever becomes the standard.

Yeah, agree and, from what I've heard in interviews, I think they'll agree too. From my understanding they build most of the song structure with just gibberish vocals and then match upp real words to the gibberish as one of the last steps, matching the vowels of the words to the vowels of the gibberish.
