It's what gives this really laid back relaxed feeling. It feels good and feels like every beat hit's perfectly where it should. In the soul :) Everyone in the band needs to be in on it for it to work, the bassist and the drummer in this case are perfectly synched and are in the pocket.

Yeah, agree and, from what I've heard in interviews, I think they'll agree too. From my understanding they build most of the song structure with just gibberish vocals and then match upp real words to the gibberish as one of the last steps, matching the vowels of the words to the vowels of the gibberish.
