The thing with these is that they are always cheaper and better build on first, then after a couple of good reviews and some bigger channels positive feedback they jack the price up 10, 15, 20$ and simultaneously reduce the quality control. The bang for buck seriously go down with that combination
We would swap the scissors for a bit driver. Making adjustment with the pocket clip will make the Workpro a one handed opening tool. Because it has a pouch we got rid of the pocket clip, using mod ranger bands additional tools can be attach such as ratchet & extension for bit driver even a folded pair of scissors. Have fun folks. Happy holidays from Australia.
WorkPro and Swiss+Tech are both brands from the same group GreatStar Tools (as are Duratech and others). One of the key design features of the SwissTech and WorkPro offerings of their Wave clones, is the direction of the pivot for the outside-opening tools. These outside tools have their pivot on the opposite side of the handle to the Plier head. This is unique to nearly all other Wave-style clones including the original. Benefit is that it removes the pinch-point when handles are open to use pliers. On original Wave and others, the edge of the outside tools pinch together with zero gap when using pliers, which can often create a horrible pinch risk. The WorkPro/SwissTech however dont have such a pinch point as there is a gap left even when pliers are closed together. This is a really important design consideration that not enough reviewers cover.
I was looking to buy a new replacement blade for my leatherman wingmen amd the price was about double the price of this entire multitool. I might just buy this instead use it or take the blade off it and stick it on the wingman
Seems pretty great for the budget price! What budget tool would you recommend this or the Gerber Suspension NXT? My local Home Depot had the NXT last week still for about $28, I thought Amazon did too for under $30? Heard some people say Iike you did that Gerber is starting to raise their prices.
@@hvacbudget8600 I just had to let you know that I've watched the price of this go up 3 or 4 times since you posted this video and it's now up to $32!
Mr. Kincaid, you pushed me down a "Rabbit Hole" once again. I should forward you the bill, lol! I order a used, like new SOG Powerpint for the curiosity factor yesterday. I don't like the strap cutter feature on that or this Workpro. Fortunately, Workpro is made by Great Star who made the Ozark Trail Multiforce, so I would assume you're getting a very decent multitool for the price, like Flissa as well. I'm still going strong with my Leatherman Arc, opened a can of dog food this morning and opened mail with it just now. I've used it for quite a bit since I've had it.
@@loie3107 I personally use the pliers to loosen the slack or snap zip ties free. Then if I'm able to wiggle the plier jaws all away back then I use the soft wire cutters for a clean cut. It just depends on the situation.
Scissors need to be on outside, strap cutters are usually crap and blunt...put the serrated blade on the inside... what I hate about clones is they clone mistakes too....

Funny, that’s exactly what happened. This isn’t even available on Amazon now.
@@TheRonin248it’s literally on Amazon right now
It's back 23 dollars
I bought one after this video. Had to wait on it to come back in the stock and absolutely love it.
Glad you like it!
Is it still holding up well
Mine has just arrived I got it for 18 GBP. It's an absolute beast of a multitool. I can't fault it.
@@Bobcat1977 Very cool!
Just picked this up. For the money, wow! It is crazy good at that price point. Really good design + fit and finish very good as well
Nice!
Have you used the diamond file at all? Does it hold up?
Holy crap! This is best budget multitool possibly
It is a huge vale!

Great points!
So true mate. Good to see another enthusiast.
Up to the AlliExpress I was kinda into it. But buy from there and getting broken multi tools I stay from buying anything else on it.
This one is on Amazon. But the DL1 is on AliExpress.
Też mam.Bardzo fajny budżetowy multitool.
Dang that blue looks nice. I know Lowes carries Workpro I wonder if they'll ever bring this to their stores
That would be cool!

Sounds good!
According to Amazon this thing is no longer available.. thoughts.. if it just came out how is it discontinued all ready.. what do we buy now..
Video comes out tomorrow at 10:45am addressing this problem.
Could one swap wave tools into this multitool?
Maybe, I haven't tried it yet.

Probably I would pick the Workpro.
Thank you!!!! Been waiting for this one. Now i gotta pick blue or green.
You're welcome!

Zip ties! No risk of pinch or puncture. Very useful to some of us!
LoL! It is really hard to resist buying just one more etc., Once one starts!!

That blue reminds me to the old Bear Jaws Multitools
It does! I didn't think about that!
I can’t find this thing anywhere
Has anyone been able to source these in Europe?
So Swiss tech has a very similar model on AliExpress. I would look into that.
Now Comes in Red, just got mine in blue at $19.99< wait
Just got mine $29, good, but file is way too thick & heavy, and I'll need to add inch/cm ruler nicks.
Cool! That sounds like a good addition inscribing inches notches.
Sold out on Amazon.
Wow!
Scissors need to be on outside, strap cutters are usually crap and blunt...put the serrated blade on the inside... what I hate about clones is they clone mistakes too....
As someone who had a wave, I used the serrated blade way more than the scissors. Just cuz it’s not your preference doesn’t make it a mistake
Darn i love this one. Ii need this for my EDC addiction
LoL!
Damn, I really liked this multitool. What a pity that Amazon does not work in my country.
Okay I'm super curious what country are you in?
@@usernameisusername I'm from Ukraine
That is unfortunate.
@@hvacbudget8600 yep 😀
They don't ship to my country either (Portugal). I find it just odd
I also bought one after watching this review. It’s a great tool but way too heavy. $23 from Amazon.
Not available anymore.....
price jacked up to $31 already, was 29 just last night.
Wow!
Now $35 each, gouging at Xmas... Classy work pro.
@@caladin002 Wow!
Typical, in two months, after some reviews and feedback will be like 40 or 50$
Just now seeing this video, oh yeah, unavailable now on Amazon lol. I’ll try again in the next months.
Unfortunately!
A swisstech clone but spring loaded pliers. Nice for the car
Definitely!
35 now

👍🏼
$33 now. Prices go up when word gets out I guess. Inflation per popularity.
Definitely!
Screw them...its at $35 now on Amazon..
Small scissors = a No No 😛
$36 Now
Wow!
Dont buy any Multi tool unless it has replaceable jaws on the pliers. If you plan on using it a lot. These are cheap for a reason.
