You don't need to blur or hide Geoff's or Voiceplay's videos, they are very reactor friendly and won't see copyright issues.
You'd have to be not only an a-hole but an idiot to object to these videos because they are superb FREE ADVERTISING!
Who wouldn't want their videos given this kind of coverage? I sure would...
funny side note, Geoff's clones are named Jeff, Goff, and Jeoph. If you watch Ghost Riders, he has added Daryl to the mix. All of them have their own parts in his arrangements.
Even funnier....I am pretty sure I've heard that the occasional 5th clone is named Darryl. LOL
Daryl also made an appearance in Blackbird.
Daryl's the ham of the group. Easy to spot.
I can never remember Goff and Jeoph, so I just call the Geoffrey and Jeffrey.
@@brucemcfarling6594 I just call them "The Geoffettes"
If you think you couldn't handle this song you gotta try his cover of "ain't no sunshine" 😂
I totally agree that she would love that one.
Easiest way to make her melt into the floor.
I came here to nominate his cover of Ain’t No Sunshine for the panty dropping club… she HAS to react to that one!!!
Voiceplay's cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters is unbelievable. A must watch if you've not seen it already.
This man has everything working for him. Amazing voice, amazing talent, amazing composer, amazing friggin hair (I am SO jealous!) and just plain gorgeous. His wife probably laughs about all the exploding panties LOL. Kathy seems to have a good sense of humor from everything I've seen. Geoff never ceases to amaze me!
Geoff remains my favorite 'bass' singer, not because he can sing lower than anyone, but because of the smoothness, richness and strength of his voice in all of his registers. As far as the sound recording/engineering, Geoff will be the first to tell you that most bass singers are not singing very loudly and depend on good engineering and some amplification in order to best showcase that very low range. When he records himself at home, he has to have the air conditioning turned off, because just the air moving around can interfere with recording the low frequency vibrations that the really low notes require. He also says Tim Foust taught him that when singing live, you have to cup your hand around the microphone and bring it as close as possible to your mouth in order to adequately capture the sound to be transmitted to the sound system. (And if you're unlucky enough to be performing in a venue with a sub-par sound system, all you're going to get is a lot of feedback anyway, since the system itself doesn't know how to interpret those low frequency vibrations.) That being said, on top of the engineering he does when recording, all his work has a final mix done by Ed Boyer, the genius who does the mixing for I think all the top acapella groups. But I must also point out that several reactors with musical theory and training background have noted that when they've studied his isolated vocal tracks, they are remarkable.
Great reactions! (both Sixteen Tons and this one). Geoff's newest song is Sound of Silence--amazing. When you get into his stuff with VoicePlay my favorite is Can't Help Falling in Love. Geoff is very prominent in that but really the whole group hits it out of the park.
Someone has probably said thus, but Geoff has a 4-5 octave range. As well as hitting those subterranean low notes so beautifully, he can sing in the tenor range in full or mix, not just falsetto).
Geoff just dropped The Sound Of Silence a couple of days ago. It will make your toes curl 👌🏻
I think you will deeply enjoy Geoff's rendition or Bill Withers' "Ain't no sunshine". I have personally never heard a better performance of that particular song and I doubt I'll ever hear a better one...
If you want a panty dropper from Geoff, listen to his version of Aint No Sunshine. You will melt...lol.
Let's not forget "Way On Down," either
🔥🔥🎼 ... at least you don't try to hide your lusting natural reaction to Geoff , like some others do. You let his voice make you sweat and smile and giggle and swoon and .. well , that is enough 🤩😳🤩😳🤩😳🤩😳🤩😳🤩😳🤩😳🤩 .. there are some more goodies from Geoff for you to discover
I'd like to add my suggestion for you to listen to Geoff's version of Ain't No Sunshine. That is one fabulous cover!
thanks for the suggestion! ✍️
@@brittreactsin addition to Ain’t No Sunshine (btw, you’ll have to dig around in the mines of Moria to find your dropped panties, that’s where mine ended up after hearing it 😂) I highly HIGHLY recommend you do a reaction to VoicePlay’s cover of Oogie Boogie… it’s one of their best, it’s a super fun video, and REALLY showcases Geoff’s vocal range.
Yes, you are correct. The original recording was released by Eric Burden and The Animals in 1964 and rose to the top of the pop charts. They were a British group popular along with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin and others from the "British Invasion" of the early 60's. This is a simply awesome fresh arrangement of a classic.
I think you'll love "My Mother Told Me." Viking warrior who sounds deep as a drone?
There’s another GREAT version of this song (sort of) by The Blind Boys of Alabama, they’re a gospel group of old men who went to the same school for the blind that Ray Charles went to. They use this melody…..but they use the lyrics to Amazing Grace. 😳🤯And it fits together flawlessly!
Yes... Go down the rabbit-hole of Geoff and his group VoicePlay! ;)
They are always grrrreat!
And again: A very nice (and funny) reaction! ;)
Geoff and VoicePlay don't block their videos as they are independent. No nasty labels do deal with. So there is no need to blur their videos.
I so much love your reactions. You've got such great descriptions. I'm as straight as they come, but I am always enviously giddy when I listen to his solo work for the same reasons you gave. Another great reaction, Britt. Thank you.
Don’t worry about it, you’re not the only man whose ovaries burst when listening to Geoff sing 😂
He’s really amazing!! Your reaction was priceless! 😂
haha thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
He can go way higher. Check out "Blackbird" to see his full range. Mans redonkulus.
sixteen tons and big bad john are a must!
I agree with ya .
The Animals weren't the originals, it's a very old song, but they did the most famous version. And of course Geoff can arrange a song like a genius. Oh you need to see more of his videos, They are so varied and often fun.
You definitely need to react to him singing man of constant sorrow..Be warned and hang on to your chair😂😂
So, are you a member of that club?😂 He has a 5 Octive range. You really need to hear his cover of, Ain't No Sunshine!!!
I just adore you. You are so fun to watch. I get major Candace Owen vibes. Lol it's a compliment
His cover of Ain't no Sunshine is stellar
I LOVED that look on yer face when he DROPPED!
Geoff is so very awesome! He always amazes me. Love your reaction!
If you haven't, check out his cover of "I see fire"
No matter what your preferences - Geoff and Voiceplay manage to bring all the feelings. It's worth catching Kassandra Brock and her friend Sarah reacting to 'My Mother Told Me' (About a year ago). they were both gobsmacked by Geoff, and then Sarah killed it with "Chill out guys - i'm already pregnant!" Another reactor's wife had the comment 'my butter just melted!'
Might I suggest "Monster Mash" by Goeff and several Voiceplay (which Geoff is a major part of) recordings "My Mother Told Me", "The Dragonborn Comes", and "Hoist the Colors".
That look at 5:07, wishing she had a sub woofer nearby.
There was another cover of this by "The Blind Boys of Alabama" about 20 years ago.
Loved your reaction! So cute! Btw, House Of The Rising Sun is actually a very old American folk song thought to be about a house of prostitution in old New Orleans. The most famous version is obviously that done by the Animals with the fabulous Eric Burdon as the lead. Thank you for a fun take on this version.
I think the appeal in Geoff is not that he looks like the prince in every Disney movie, but that he looks like that AND sounds like the disney villain AT THE SAME TIME.
Loved your reaction! Would absolutely Love more Geoff!
His cover of Ain't No Sunshine will blow your socks off!!
you are too damn adorable, I love you.
Check out Geoff and the other amazing vocalists he works with in Voiceplay's cover of Nothing Else Matters.
Britt if you want to hear LOW BASS, check out Tim Storms singing Lonsome Road. He is the Guiness Record holder for the lowest voice by a human (G -7, 0.189 Hz. So low only elephants can hear it) AND he holds the Guiness record for having the widest octave range with a 10-octave range.
Where is Tim Foust's and Peter Hollin's Misty Mountains? or Darci Lynn's audition on AGT? or Kodi Lee's audition on AGT? YOu should listen to Tim Foust's songs he has a good range.
You should also look at his cover of "ain't no sunshine" by Bill Withers... and also his work with the acapella group voiceplay
Girllll, your reactions have me rolling
Please react to his band too it s voiceplay it s an a capella group
I recommand you voiceplay hoist the colours please please
Yes...it was the Animals who sang the original (Eric Burdon).
Loving you, Britt! ❤
Omg, did I say it out loud? Blushing now 💥
You are AMAZING! ❤
haha thank you so much!! i'm blushing too... we r blushing at the same time how cute lmao. Have the day you deserve!!
Thank you for your reaction!
"Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" a must listen.
Geoff has a super natural voice.
I new he sounded familiar he sang songs in Game of thrones and the hobbit! Makes sense!!!!
Try Geoff's cover of Way Down! Also, The Sound of Silence!
I was laughing at you saying he has a voodoo voice because of VoicePlay covering Friends on the Other Side and he’s literally part of the voodoo music lol
He also does costumed covers like Ghost Riders in the Sky, Misty Mountains Cold, and Monster Mash where his four selves dress as characters
Check out Voiceplay due to the is the acapella group Geoff is in as their bassist
Voice Play and Home Free are amazing. I love Geoff!
The one that got me hooked on him is”Misty Mountains “
You should see Geoff Castellucci's "Aint No Sunshine"
Ok. When you check out his version of Sounds of Silence, be sitting down & have tissues handy. He brings all the feels and shows off most of his range. Had me in tears for real.
Also: lol, thank you for the Disney Prince mention. I’ve thought that all along.
Need to react to Ain't no sunshine by Geoff
Geoff's newest cover is The Sound of Silence you definitely should check that out and Misty Mountains is amazing too
You do need to checkout the group he is with Voiceplay. For sweet songs you would probably enjoy "I Can't Make You Love Me" or "Can't Help Falling In Love". For Geoff individually you might like "Ain't No Sunshine," or "Blackbird"
I would like to also suggest Tim Foust of Home Free. “Ring of Fire” live on The Sing Off is a great example.
His range is amazing, like Geoff’s, but his Bass is fuller & sub harmonics are ridiculous. Also, hearing judges Ben Folds, Jewel & Shawn Stockman’s reaction is funny.
The group he's in VoicePlay, does a great cover of Oogie Boogie's song, he shows his range and hits an insane low note at the very end of that one.
Geoff is a member of a group called voice play and they do a cover of the song Tennessee, whiskey, it’s just amazing you should give it a listen.
If i ever had one wish that could be fulfilled... it won't be money or women or cars or houses or fame... It will be to have this man's voice and range. Absolute unit of force he is.
If you loved this, you really gotta listen to his cover of Misty mountains cold and Rains of Castermere🔥🔥
Sang this one in history ciass when I was 16... ❤
I feel ya girl. Oh boy.
Girl my whole body quaked with that drop hummmmm 😮💨🫨
Geoff's range spans 5 octaves, that alone puts him in the class with the likes of Mariah Carey. My question is why isn't he as famous?
Please check out Geoff's cover of "Ain't No Sunshine" - it will give you a new perspective of the song. Definitely better than the original IMHO.
Awesome reaction...check out his Acapella group Voice play...check out The Oogie Boogie song and Hoist the Colors. You will lose your mind
Nice job! :) Watch Geoff vids (without fear). He does not re-do cover tunes. Geoff makes upgrades.
He should be in there four times Britt!
Wait till she sees his "Way Down" 😂😂
I loved your reaction. sub’d and notif
yay! welcome to the fam! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. have the day you deserve!
Thank you for the reaction! In addition to the songs others have suggested here, please also check out his cover of Blackbird
Another pantie dropper from Geoff. It was the animals. Great reaction love Geoff. G'day from Australia.
thank you so much! lol is Geoff getting inducted into the PDC?
To really hear Geoff's range, watch his cover of Blackbird or Voiceplay's Oogie Boogie song from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Geoff is the bass singer for the group voiceplay. They tend to get a bit more theatrical than some other accapella groups. We Don't Talk About Bruno from the movie Encanto is a fun one to watch.
He melts panties with his cover of Blackbird.
Geoff can go straight up demon level on a moment's notice. Love it!!!
Yes, the Animals
On top of his own obvious talent, he is also an amazing producer/arranger…you should check out Home Free and the Oak Ridge Boys, “Elvira”…Geoff arranged it (Home Free thanks him after the video)
Funny thing!.......when i first heard his voice, maybe 2 years ago, i said, if he could 'bottle' what effects his voice, has on 'people'......ALL people......he could sell it, and call it "Panty Droppers".....>^^
your reaction was hilarious but not all that unexpected I feel that way watching him sometimes ❤🏴
I love a good bass! My favorite bass singer is Avi Kaplan. His voice is so rich and velvet. Avi is a singer/songwriter so most of what he sings is original. Change on the Rise is his most popular song or for his latest release When I'm a Fool live from Sunset Sound is jam session. Please consider reacting to Avi , cheers!
Yes the Animals .
you should react to his version of blackbird
U r right the animals😊
Perfect a cappella harmonization: Voctave's *Disney Princess Medley.* Please!
You should check out Tim Foust and some of his "Pieces of Me" album
The earliest recording of the house of the rising sun was by Leadbelly
I'm wondering when is she going to react to "Jack's Lament" by Geoff Castelluci.
check out the Bare necessities by him... its from the jungle book
Check his performance in The OOGIE BOOGY song with his band
haha! You crack me up.
Nicely done with your reaction .
thank you!!!
Britt baby, If you like Mr Geoff in this version then you have got to listen to him and his group in their version of "Hoist the Colors" PLEASE!!!
