Strongly recommend you read the bar table meeting again. Elenalise never suggests anything to Roxy. Talhand and Geese ask why she can't do her thing to help him come back like she has done so many times before, Geese thorizes about a brothel if that's impossible, they imagine he wouldn't take well to that, and I'm not exactly certain of this last part, but I feel like Geese then starts to suggest Lilia help before Elenalise shuts him up with a dirty look. No suggestion was ever made for Roxy to step in.
on rudi saying he didn't cheat if i remember correctly its supposed to be something along the lines of "i promised i would stay faithful i cant CONTINE to break that" witch makes sense in context
Yeah my boy Rudy just beat the allegations 🙌, now a third season is coming and everybody knows that a third sword too, my boy has to practice his santoryu, the next step is to surpass his daddy but seriously guys a lot of anime onlys are not ready for what is coming, the next season it's going to be absolutely crazy.
As you said, I was also angry at the omission of conversations about Rudy’s previous life with Roxy, which led to his rejuvenation and the omission of the lie that Alinarije did, skipping all the narratives from Rudy to Roxy's relationship which would demonize Roxy. Most of all, the adaptation to make Roxy perform a reverse rape was enough to make viewers who only watched Anime misunderstand Roxy as a sex-mad woman. My favorite character is also Roxy, so I'm offended by this malicious adaptation. Lastly, I am sorry that my word could be awkward ‘cause I am not that good at English. But anyway, I really enjoyed your comparison segment and reaction as well.

For AO, ep 23 was really messed up fs, but in my opinion, later on it explains most of the problems about Roxy and Rudy so I don't pay much attention. Rudy was ready to be a scumbag instead of regretting that he wanted to marry Roxy as his second wife and Eli advised Rudy on this issue as a person with the mindset of that world and that ended the problem of episode 23. Go to episode 24, Rudy was quite careless in not talking to Sylphy privately about this one first but I guess it's understandable because Rudy's EQ is quite low due to some problems in his previous life and Rudy also said something that If he had known this would happen, he would have asked Paul's opinion + he realized he was still a kid and needed to grow up quickly. After all, this is not a redemption story, it's just "people change" so Rudy still have a long way to go. But a pretty good detail in this episode I appreciate Rudy, even though Roxy was the one who took advantage, Rudy tried to take all the blame and said that Roxy helped Rudy (even its not a lie), he was prepared to receive scolding from Sylphy like how Norn told him but he was quite lucky after all
abt "regret" one, seeing many people saying that Rudy hasn't received it yet, in my opinion people can simply think: 1. Rudy making the same mistakes with his parents 2. Regretting marrying Roxy, although it was resolved in episode 24, but will it have any consequences in the future? 3. Or did Hitogami trick Rudy from the beginning and doesn't have any regrets at all and at the same time doesn't want Rudy to go to Paul's place or is just pretending to stop him? who knows. thats why we gotta wait for s3 then.
Man I'm still sad about Paul's death. But damn mommy Sylphie is oddly hot though and yeah it was difficult to watch Norn learn about her father's death, I feel like somehow it's taking me longer to accept it than the characters in the show.
Also Eris is sure to be shocked to find out Rudy has two wives and at least one child by the time she meets him again but damn she deserved it for deserting him.
The changes they made were better imo. Why would Rudy initiate when he was in that state and lise saying Roxy was pregnant to get him to commit is just as bad. The author himself made the changes so not sure why ln readers are crying but thats par for the course can't be pleased

No sorry the anime version was better. You cant really be ok that Rudy only wanted to marry Roxy cause Elinalise lied to him about Roxy being pregnant and basically forced him to accept marriage. The anime is way better cause he decides to marry her without that lie. Showing that he really loves her.
That’s not the only reason he wanted to marry her, he was already on the fence about it but wanted to stay loyal to sylphie (not further hurt her/cheat on her) but he also knew he was in love with Roxy and elinalise gave him a final push which gave him the resolve to “take responsibility” for his actions
