Today I put watermelon in the back of my Hyundai Sonata. The watermelon was moving at times during braking time and since then the passenger's airbag seems to be off. Now what can I do and can I fix it myself or do I have to take help from a mechanic?
Question. I got hit on side of bed and back passanger door. My airbag start blinking and everytime passanger puts seatbelt on the seatbelt keeps blinking. I got 2011 toyota tundra. I took it to bodyshop they turned off airbag but passanger light not showing nor airbag on or off. What is it? ECU?
When you turn on the ignition, all dashboard lights turn on to perform a check procedure, indicating they are working. After few seconds lights go off, except for the ones that indicate currently present issues (if any) - Check Engine light for example. If any of the lights don’t turn on, its either has bad bulb, or it is unplugged, or its malfunctioning.
My Fellow Brother I Have A Question. I took my Honda Accord 2009 to have a wheel bearing replaced and cv axle shaft and before I got there I had no airbag light but the mechanic who fixed my car was about 300 pounds after he was done I noticed the airbag light but he denied ever tampering with the airbag module. Can he have affected my airbag by replacing the wheel bearing and cv? My car was perfect until he fixed it at their shop. Please let me know bro
Of course they will deny it. Cuz then they would have to fix whatever they did. Though I really cant think of how those two things could be related. Maybe they damaged wires while working under the car.
Hello my name is Rey I have a 2009 Lexus RX 350 and my air bag light is on, on my dashboard like yours in this video. I’ve tried removing both seats in the front and disconnecting the yellow harness to both passenger seat and driver seat, wiggled on wires and connected the car battery back but the airbag is still on. I never had it scan for codes. Can you please help me?
Hi! I hope you can answer, so can I just buy the occupant detection sensor, (used), and plug it in, and it will work? I’m not sure what I have to do, transfer the old data to the new one. And also did you have the airbag light on the instrument cluster?
Omg. Im stupid--i thpught mine was broken but After you said it weighs you and disables if it isnt heavy enough, I literally sat in the passenger and BOOM airbag on lmao Its just off bc no ones sitting there lol I'm so dense But hey if anyone can help- I punched my light out of frustration and it popped backwards into the dash The clips aren't broken but its really difficult to pull it back into place Any tips?

That ECU is probably bad. I had the same thing, tried to recalibrate, but it would never work.

My rx350 has the same Passenger light error however no error codes. Could it still be the ECU?

It would be helpful to get the error code. It will point out what specifically is wrong.

I found the exact part number as my old one and it worked without data transfer.
The passenger side to my toyota yaris showing airbag off sir what i should do?
#1 Scan the car and get the error code.
And then based on error code you should get an idea of whats going on.
How about first just trying to reprogram the faulty ECU with a scan tool that can do that (i.e. before replacing the ECU)?

Does car lose value once air bag been disploy?
Yes. It is less safe, and it will cost a lot to properly replace deployed airbags.
