Still kind of a shame they keep using the same sonic design since Generations/Colors. Not bad of course, but damn does the Unleashed model looks better and would probably fit Roger's voice best

The Generations/Colors model is from Unleashed. The one used in Frontiers is from Forces.

Unleashed, Colors, and Gens use the same model, and I agree, it's the better model. Lost World was when they started changing it.
Could never get used to the new model, tbh. He looks younger and a bit more Classic-like, which doesn't go well with Roger's deeper voice. Also, that center quill has been acting funny since Lost World.

Technically, the model debuted in Shadow 05. They just didn't use it as an in-game model until Unleashed.
