I suck and am stuck at bronze... the first video wasn't too helpful, but this one was very eye opening. I am way too impatient and I miss so many balls putting me out of position. The gold player seems like a lot of the people I encounter in bronze, so this was very helpful. Thanks!
It's the little things in car control that i feel like squishy doesn't even know are hard that are such a big difference from his opponents. None of them can catch the ball on the back wall like that or use drift and toggle camera modes while dribbling. The shadowing tips are great but it's pretty unrealistic to play offense like he does as a new player lol
The crazy mechs that “diamonds” have are higher ranked players on their alts/smurfs and you don’t get them nearly as often when solo queuing. This is why you haven’t seen them lol
These videos are super useful. I used to play High Diamond, low-mid Champion, but took a break cause I got into other games. It's been 5 years since I picked up my controller and I've been thinking about getting back into it. I used to watch SM videos constantly, just hearing SM talk about his mindset and strategy is what pushed me over the Diamond plateau I was in. Watching videos like this, to remind me of what I already knew really helps knocking some rust off this old bones. Thanks Squishy.
Main issue I'm finding is he's basing how a rank plays off one player and in my experience this isn't how that rank plays at all the silver constantly going back to goal I don't think I ever saw that once when I was in silver from what I remember
Squishy im like plat 3/ diamond 1 in 1s, and I do a speed flip kick off, my opponent always wins the ball to my side and I can’t recover because im on their side after kick off and they get a free open net and that’s how I lose most of my games. Any tips on winning the kick off?
Adapt. If opponent has a slower kickoff you are often hitting the ball into them and they get a solid hit towards your side. You may have to do a slower kickoff use less boost also diagonal flip into the ball to recover faster. or do early front flip to block the hit but then it might be slower recovery, or if u have a near perfect speedflip u can hit the ball at an angle to a side so that it misses them completely bcz they r slow.
9:33 diamond isnt really worrysome but since the rank update you get the biggest range of player skill. From washed GCs to golds/plats that were carried so its hard to get to champ for some people
Who else is better to teach rl than squishy from some1 that’s a low level plat in 1s and a low level diamond in 3s and 2s I find this very useful and because I feel like I’m actually learning and where I’m going wrong
The Problem with me is that I dont see 3 Dimensional. So Everything is harder for me. Especially resets and aerials. I have no Idea where the Ball is in relationship to my car. Im a C1 but I could be a lot better if i wouldnt have that Problem. I just wanted to share that and maybe find people who have the same Problem to see how they deal with it. Thanks for reading ❤️
you are using your normal recoveries and movement around that its borderline smurfing, you have to actually play to the level so people can see how to use these tips with their level of play style

It will actually will slightly ruin the retention for the video. Also, if you look, the channel gets more views when you guys don't put squishy's face in the thumbnail.
