Legend has it that Tsar Peter I dropped his telescope in the river and called it the "glass thief", but that's just a myth. The first mention of this river was in Russian chronicles back in 1106, and it's been referred to with various spelling variations throughout the centuries.

A very pleasant video for relaxation! It's just a pity that the added soundtrack with the hum of bumblebees, songs of finches, thrushes and other birds is recorded with a stationary microphone, and this is very "striking" to the eyes and ears. But when you turn it on as a background video, it doesn't matter.
Очень приятное видео для релаксации! Жаль только, что добавленная звуковая дорожка с гулом шмелей, песнями зябликов, дроздов и других птиц записана неподвижным микрофоном, и это очень "бросается" в глаза и уши. Но при включении в качестве фонового видео это не мешает.
