Well done Brian, great job!. I'm always disappointed at how BMW can make a $40k+ car seem to be cheap choice. Their entry level models are alway so bare-boned as to make a Kia look good. Sure, you can get one (maybe) for the $36k msrp, but would you WANT one without any of the options that make BMW a premium car? Personally, I expect all of the models of a premium brand to seem premium. They could learn some lessons from other premium brands (looking at Audi here).
Actually you get a premium car at less than $40k without the expensive performance options. The car has sufficient power and great handling characteristics in base trim with only the convenience package. Test drive a base minimally optioned 230i coupe. I guarantee you’ll be impressed. It’s a premium experience at a fair price. A bargain in my opinion.

The standard 18” wheels with standard brakes are perfect for a better handling smoother ride. Overall I would recommend against these packages and just order a base car with a convenience package with basic options and keep it below $40k. It’s a much better deal and rides great!
A bargain in my opinion.
i thnk i rather get the new civic
BUY IT NOW -- before the RUIN IT with iDrive 8.
Might not be the Prefect Coupe.
Is it mean if I say I'm not the biggest fan of this presenter over Alex lol. It's not personal, but it just feels like he doesn't actualy know much about cars, feels like a presenter reading lines rather than having actual automotive knowledge. Not trying to be mean I'm just being honest. Maybe it's just me, idunno.
The 2023 i230 is perfect with the iDrive8, iDrive7 so outdated and useless.
C’mon, fix the mis-spelling in the title
If we ignore that it has the ugliest headlights since E46 Compact, then maybe.
what about the 2013 1 series hatchback?
28 seconds into the video.... it's 2022. Can we stop saying that inanimate objects are sexy or seductive?
It looks worse than the previous model
A front wheel drive BMW? Nah, pass on it.
The 230 is rear wheel drive. 228 sedans are fwd
Still waiting on your iX review!
Why do Americans pronounce luxury as lugxury?
Are you really surprised that some people talk different than other people. Who cares.
This new model isn't nice at all. The last gen 2 series is nice
3,500 lbs? Time for a diet bmw?
If it is not manual, it is far from perfect.
UNGLY
looks plasticky
BMWs are ugly af.
This thing is so ugly.. the designs bmw pumping out these days is hit or miss no mid ground at all
If it was perfect, then it would be a manual.
Also, you broke your own rules about videos that brian appears in :(
So sick of this channel having no understanding of cars or design. Y’all literally just peddle to the mainstream and oems instead of having a backbone.
If they had a backbone, what would they say?
Having a backbone for what? What do you want them to say? Lets hear it!
Not only did I lose interest in coups, but the presenter as well. For some reason, the way he speaks and communicates just doesn't seem genuine.
Omg, Brian get lost! Seriously.
they shrunk Alex
I'm sure they will listen to rude comments.
The color grading on this video is terrible
