Penix throws the best deep ball and is a very good athlete, however, his mid game is what is moving him down. Even the Michigan game where they dared him to throw underneath, he couldn't. His health is also a concern. If he can get good at the intermediate throws, he'll have a good career.
The problem with saying that about Daniels is that the offense didn't ask him to throw to the middle of the field. As for Maye, I agree with their assessment. He looks like a guy who could have used another year. I never saw the hype from last year's tape.

NOWAY is Drake Maye better than Penix. Penix & Nix should be 3&4 because JJ & Maye haven't shown enough good tape yet. They both are just talent projections. I'm a Mich fan, but I am realistic.
Penix is not that great of a prospect. He is a really good pocket passer that does not play well when pressured. Not to mention, the dude is already getting old and has a HORRIBLE injury history
