One month past by after my full time mission that year is 1988 when I was alone meditating and reading the bible, to fight my anxiety and depression, then suddenly I heard of choir of angels singing this song Come Come you Saints, they sang that song from heaven above and descended to me as Tabernacle choir. This is my testimony that I bore with you, angels were sorround us and watch over us. The lyrics of the song is very meaningful to me,,, why should we mourn or think our lot is hard , tis not so all is right
My Heart is kindled towards our early Pioneers. Blessed be their souls for their sacrifice. We are Greatly blessed this day for their Faith. I thank My Father in Heaven for them. I pray that we are Faithfull in Doing their Saving work in our Temples.
Thanks for this touching song Mormons, you always reminding us that there's a place in which God for us prepared far away in the West, this make me strong every minute I listen to it.

I knew the song from an early age when singing at the school. One night I heard the song been sang in my sleep. I woke up thinking that the radio is on or where it came from. to my surprise, it was on the open air from above as walk outside the house. I realized that I had visitors from somewhere I have never been from. The voices were so angelic and the background instruments were amazing. Then started calling my teachers from school and asking them about the song as I forgot the words. One of the teachers came to my rescue and gave me the name of the song. I then realized that I was alone in my journey and my redeemer is watching and protect me from all bad intentions. I thank you Lord. I love this song and as my life unfolds some people came and sang it for me from nowhere. Glory be to God.
This song made me come back to church and change my heart to be more like our Lord and Savior. I was in a very dark path for many years to ending my own life. But when I heard this song again, God showed me the way, and lead me back to Him. All is well.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Justin. We are so glad you are here and that God helped you back into the light. We hope your experience will also be a light to others that see your comment.

1. Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear; But with joy wend your way. Though hard to you this journey may appear, Grace shall be as your day. 'Tis better far for us to strive Our useless cares from us to drive; Do this, and joy your hearts will swell-- All is well! All is well! 2. Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard? 'Tis not so; all is right. Why should we think to earn a great reward If we now shun the fight? Gird up your loins; fresh courage take. Our God will never us forsake; And soon we'll have this tale to tell-- All is well! All is well! 3. We'll find the place which God for us prepared, Far away in the West, Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid; There the Saints will be blessed. We'll make the air with music ring, Shout praises to our God and King; Above the rest these words we'll tell-- All is well! All is well! 4. And should we die before our journey's through, Happy day! So very beautiful! Amazing arrangements and I love how the organ just plays a mood creation type role. The flipping of the melody, the powerful ending, that foot bass....Wow its all just fantastic
That last verse gets me every time! Tears to my eyes. Just imagine having to watch those you love die through your journey in an unknown place. Dying from persecution, disease/sickness etc. But also imagine the amount of people who lived or got through these heart aches because they put their trust in God to bring them to a land of peace. The verse says "if then we shall die before our journeys through, happy day!" I love that line because it shows how brave and fearless these early saints were regardless of our trials. This song doesn't apply just to them however. No we may not be in such terror as back then, but don't we experience loss of those we love? Persecution or betrayal from those we called friends? And much other personal trials that are equivalent to what the saints experienced? I just want to testify that "our God will never us forsake" and he loves us so much he is there to comfort us during the midst of any trial we may have. ❤❤
I live in predominantly Mormon state Ut. I m a Protestant Saint. But the difficult times we are in, I find solace in our common Hymns. Will our Lifes ever be the same? God Bless all of you. God Bless America.
I believe the hymntext has a blessed answer: whether our lives are the same shouldn't be our focus, all is right, all is well. We're reminded not to shun the fight, which I take as overcome our reluctance to work for good.
We got introduced to this song here in South Africa by the late Cyril Bongani Mchunu, I am so glad that he got honoured by the church last year. MOVING INDEED!!!!!!
Yes indeed! He loved it so much, that I too fell in love with it when I was a child. Years later my mom bought the CD. It's an incredible song. Such a blessing.
As the Saints, under the leadership of Brigham Young, crossed the western prairie from Missouri, bound for points unknown, hampered by hardships and daily challenges, even deaths, as the evening shadows fell, they gathered around the campfires singing this song. This song gave them strength and inspiration to continue their long journey not knowing where they would end up, but with an unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, they knew it would be worth it.
It is very spiritual pure feeling of heart and soul as living with God which is the chanting mantra of humanbeing it is so sweet with depth of heart feeling to sweet love to God
I was "called" to sing this hymn (Verses 2 and 4) at my infant son's graveside funeral service a long time ago, in 1983. To this day, I cannot sing nor listen to this lovely hymn without dredging up very personal, deep memories of my precious, little Brian. I might be a big, tough guy, but I am crying as I type this.
I like how this song is applicable to everyone today. With little imagination we can place ourselves in these verses and find encouragement each day of our lives.
Mark Dixon, Ive been able to go on trek a few times. And every time I play it on the organ. It always brings back memories. Sometimes I make it okay. Others I have a tear or two. Its one of the few hymns that will always tug on your heart strings.

Every line of "Come, Come, Ye Saints" reflects the feelings and the hope that brought the pioneers West. This song captures their drive to keep going, to a place which God prepared for them, where none shall come to hurt or make afraid. I love how optimistic they are; they accept that death along the trail may be part of the plan, and for many of them it was, but they kept going. It is really amazing what our pioneer ancestors did for future generations.
I was baptized 47 years ago. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the Tabernacle Choir. I watch this video before retiring for the night and I sing it in my head before falling into a restful sleep. I do go to the Choir rehearsals on Thursday evenings.

"We'll make the air with music ring; Shout praises to our God and King." These words strike with such amazing power. Music is undeniably part of our Heavenly Father's eternal plan. When I was a kid, back when Atari 2600 cartridges roamed the Earth, one of my Primary teachers tried to teach me this song. I though it was boring. It was only after I had struggled through a few of life's trials, myself, that I started to feel the power of "Come, Come Ye Saints."
O I love so many songs but this one touches me it songs face to face with my redeemer face to face what will it be face with my redeemer jesus christ who died for me. It touches my heart
My great grandfather is Lorenzo Snow. My ancestors, the Snows, Bigelows, Gibbs, Meachams and many others crossed the plains in the mid 19th century. This hymn makes me cry because i think of their courage and strength and deep love of God. I inherited this love from them and it has guided my entire life.
I was a 16 year old exchange student in Utah when I first heard the Mormon Tabernacle sing. My host parents brought me to Temple Square one December evening to see the lights. Because the choir was practicing, we sat down to watch them at the Tabernacle. We were in front. It was the first time I’ve seen a choir that big. When they started singing, I was awash with emotions. I didn’t know what came over me, but I started crying while listening to them. I don’t remember anymore what they sang-that was almost 30 years ago-but I still remember how moved I was by the choir. I love the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!
Yo soy ex miembro de la iglesia, sin embargo el Coro del Tabernáculo Mormón es maravilloso. Lo escucho siempre. Tengo el anhelo de verlos en directo. Soy de Chile.
Imagine a song about holy war and dying to "earn a great reward" "And should we die before our journey's through Happy day! All is well! We then are free from toil and sorrow, too, With the just we shall dwell!"
I'm so thankful for the Gospel. It guides me through life and makes this hymn absolutely speak to me in a way I never would have imagined just a year ago before this light came into my life.

This song gave them strength and inspiration to continue their long journey not knowing where they would end up, but with an unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, they knew it would be worth it.
I’m going to get back up, I know that God will always forgive me if I get back up. I cannot shun the fight now.
It is very spiritual pure feeling of heart and soul as living with God which is the chanting mantra of humanbeing it is so sweet with depth of heart feeling to sweet love to God
I love this music it lefts my spirit.
It doesn't get much better than this!
EdWatts. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR. LOSS- MAY OUR HEVFather hold him extra tightly in HIS arms
Found this song Wednesday, June 24, 2020. I absolutely love it. Glory to God!
I like how this song is applicable to everyone today. With little imagination we can place ourselves in these verses and find encouragement each day of our lives.
I like hymns due its presence to heavenly host
My question is: How many times do they have to practice this song before they can get through it without sobbing? Beautiful!
Mark Dixon, Ive been able to go on trek a few times. And every time I play it on the organ. It always brings back memories. Sometimes I make it okay. Others I have a tear or two. Its one of the few hymns that will always tug on your heart strings.
It is truely remarkable
I wouldnt be able to keep it together, especially at the 4th verse😥
As a member of this choir, it is very hard sometimes!!
I sang in the choir for a time, and this is one of the most difficult. I can no longer make it through because of the emotions! Thanks for sharing
Am proud to be a mormon
Truly moving!!!! Enough said!!!
I wish all was well. My wife left the church. Such pain is so deep.
So sorry. I hope she comes back. God bless you.

I just needed this hymn today. And I feel so fine
A "brilliant" rendition of this beautiful hymn. No one does it better than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!
RENDITION!👍👍👍👍👍 WOWWWWW!!!!
As wonderful as these humans sound, I can't imagine what it will sound like when the hosts of Heaven sing at the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
I have a mormon friend, he always talks about church. I read the book of Mormon and doctrine and covenants. But I do not know what to do! I will wait longer.
My ever giving thanks to praise God in song, however, not Christians. God is with them.
Love this hymn, since my teenager tyms

Olga, aqui é a versão portuguesa:
Vinde, ó santos
Sem medo ou temor,
Mas alegres andai,
Rude é o caminho ao triste viajor,
Mas com fé caminhai.
É bem melhor encorajar
E o sofrimento amenizar
Podeis agora em paz cantar,
Tudo bem, tudo bem
Por que dizeis "é dura a provação"?
Tudo é bom, não temais
Por que pensais em grande galardão
Se a luta evitais?
Mas não deveis desanimar,
Se tendes Deus para vos amar
Podeis agora proclamar,
Tudo bem, tudo bem.
The Spirit is wonderful! Praise God! Bless those who paved the way for the rest of us of the covenant.
That is awesome! I’m glad that you have found Jesus in your life.
Absolutely glorious ❤️
1. Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear;
But with joy wend your way.
Though hard to you this journey may appear,
Grace shall be as your day.
'Tis better far for us to strive
Our useless cares from us to drive;
Do this, and joy your hearts will swell-
All is well! All is well!
2. Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard?
'Tis not so; all is right.
Why should we think to earn a great reward
If we now shun the fight?
Gird up your loins; fresh courage take.
Our God will never us forsake;
And soon we'll have this tale to tell-
All is well! All is well!
3. We'll find the place which God for us prepared,
Far away in the West,
Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid;
There the Saints will be blessed.
We'll make the air with music ring,
Shout praises to our God and King;
Above the rest these words we'll tell-
All is well! All is well!
4. And should we die before our journey's through,
Happy day! All is well!
We then are free from toil and sorrow, too;
With the just we shall dwell!
But if our lives are spared again
To see the Saints their rest obtain,
Oh, how we'll make this chorus swell-
All is well! All is well!
I love the song I am a child of God! Won't you please come and join us.
Thank you for the Text
ALL IS WELL! THANK YOU!
Thanks, the music is Awesome. Having the words I can participate. God bless you all as you share these encouraging words.
Oh Lord. Amen. Breathtakingly spectacular.
The church meant a lot to me.
I spent a lot of time in the temple.
Bless you all and please, stay safe.
God bless and keep you, Marcel. Lots of love from a 91 year old grandma.

Maravilhoso, simplesmente maravilhoso.
Thanks for sharing!
Wow. That's incredible! Yes, it must be moving to listen to this and think of them. You know they have earned a great reward. Wha a blessing!❤❤❤
Very impressive. My Ancestors did also. We were the Barlows.
Sou Adventista do sétimo dia e nunca vi e ouvi algo parecido. É arrebatador! Celestial.
There is More in the store of his love. He will so much unto us only if we continue to believe in that which Jesus Christ brings unto us
I was a 16 year old exchange student in Utah when I first heard the Mormon Tabernacle sing.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
@@churchofjesuschrist ok
@@churchofjesuschrist hello
Yo soy ex miembro de la iglesia, sin embargo el Coro del Tabernáculo Mormón es maravilloso. Lo escucho siempre. Tengo el anhelo de verlos en directo. Soy de Chile.
Truly Magnificent
Imagine a song about holy war and dying to "earn a great reward" "And should we die before our journey's through
Happy day! All is well! We then are free from toil and sorrow, too, With the just we shall dwell!"
All is well❤❤❤

This is too good!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁
I'm so thankful for the Gospel. It guides me through life and makes this hymn absolutely speak to me in a way I never would have imagined just a year ago before this light came into my life.
