@@jacobshepard8196 while ophiel says equal or exceed, you also need to use ophiel to summon the card, the problem occurs in the ritual summon rulings where you are not allowed to overpay if you already go over cost (I.e. since bethor is already enough to pay for cost, you can't use ophiel but you MUST use ophiel as part of its effect. This is also the reason why we are not allowed to summon relinquished with meteonis drytron, you have already reached 0 attack so you aren't allowed to tribute more monsters but you need to tribute at least 1 therefore you can't. The main example people go for is that if you want to ritual summon 5 and you have 4 level 1 monsters and a level 6 monster, you can't use all of your level 1 monsters and the level 6 as you would be overpaying
In this case you could use bettor Yo summon idaten if you used the effect of phul as it doesn't require you to also tribute phul, but because you MUST tribute ophiel legally you can't use a monster that has a higher level than the card you are trying to summon but you can use 2 cards that exceed the cost

So I have also been playing drytron‘s for a long time pretty much since union carrier and Ben 10 was legal at 3 Theoretically you can cut the knightmare Phoenix So your engine on its own can just break boards anyways including back row decks You also have Zeus to clear back row decks as well It rarely comes up where I really have to Phoenix because also diviner can just be a one car pop as well Obviously going games two and three if you’re playing against the back rowdeck you’ll just side in the twin twisters the red reboot and the harpie feather duster Cutting Phoenix is something that I’ve done recently to make space and I honestly don’t regret it

I think I mention this in an earlier comment, but cut non essential engine cards (1 delta, draconids, bethor (when playing 2 Phul), 1 emergency) , and hard going second cards that are ineffective in the matchup
This combo is illegal because you cannot use Ophiel’s ritual summon effect using Bethor and Ophiel. You are overpaying for the cost which means you must use another monster.
Think adding Saffira, Queen of dragons is a good idea? Considering it can reuse the EVA or even give you a draw or pitch one card of your opponent's hand. She is a level 6 so maybe it's not necessary the Megalith package? You're the drykage, give me your advice lol
Thought the same about her She is cool but you need a Machine with 2500Atk to summon her (atleast two Drytrons) AND her effect is during the EP so idk tbh...
There is an even more insane combo with dragoon + Crystal wing + apolousa for 2 (ip+ anaconda) + utopic + ultimateness (2 negates) with crow and lancea in hand if you have at least alpha zeta and one prep

Depends on matchup - when cutting engine pieces going 2nd it’s 1 delta, draconids, 1 orange , 1 emergency and called by in that order of priority
