The Fenton piece is a candle bowl. You can put a large candle & candle ring in the center & tapers around the edges. The color is Glossy Custard. Most other colors are common, with the exception of Carnival. Yours will glow under a blacklight, too. Makes a great Halloween decoration.
When you were at the shoes, I wanted you to get the Dansko sandals (shoes?)! They cost between $125.00 - $150.00 brand new. Teachers, nurses, doctors, and anyone who is on their feet all day long love them!
Dying at all the good stuff that was passed on. Sports cards, stamps, deisigner shoes. That’s mostly what I sell and it flys off the shelf. To each their own.

I’ve ridden on the back of motorcycles before, you probably should sell the Harley jacket and liner together. It really makes a difference when you go riding in the winter time.

I’m a clothing reseller; I’ve been on eBay side 1998. You missed a lot of expensive pieces of clothing. The blazer with gold crest by Ralph Lauren sells for about $45 or more. There was an Akris Punto white blouse is a very expensive brand.
The Akris was completely stained or I would have gotten it.

The Jan Mitchell glass ornament is a sugar mill. I live here in St Croix and we have them all over the island. Jan Mitchell is a sweet lady who has a shop in town. I have some of her glass ornaments also 🥰 It put a smile on my face when I saw you purchased her work. I’ll let her know next time I see her 😊

Love the old Wish Books. As for checking DVDs, I wouldn't normally stop to check such a large quantity as you purchased, but one time I was buying several at a sale, and the owner insisted we check every single one to be sure no home movies got mixed in. So we checked every one of them, and all was as it should be.

We anxiously awaited the arrival of the Wish Book every year,first as kids and then with our kids! Each kid marked what they wanted for Christmas. There weren’t many items unmarked!!!

Stain remover from Melaleuca is great. I used it on a light beige skirt my mom marked with a pen; it came right off.
My biggest pet peeve’s at yard sales or running them is when people come up and asked for a cheaper price
One of my pet peeves is when a person having a flea market organizes everything and lookers trash it around with no respect!!
It's kind of expected to haggle at a yard sale. The value of something is different for everyone.

That art glass item from St. Croix I think is based on the old sugar mills found on the island. I remember seeing them there.

The art glass ornament is a Sugar Mill. They were used on plantations to grind sugar cane. You’re going to need to start renting a (tax deductible) U-Haul for yard sales lol...love it!

Here is Australia I passed up the entire series of Little House on the Prairie for $10 while wandering around the market I checked ebay comps and came back to grab it but someone who already knew the value had bought them already. That series here in Australia sells for around $300
Last yard sale I went to the lady said...wow you are taking all the good stuff! I thought DUH isen't that why I came?! I was ALSO her first customer. Buying from yard sales and garage sales can be awkward. I try to just laugh it off but they all know when I buy stuff I know I am buying the GOOD stuff! lol

No, that is not missing a lid. It is a candle dish. You can put different sizes of candles. I have a blue marble color one, and I got it in 1971. It was a more expensive item.

Deodorant stains can be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide. Just soak the stain and let it sit for a while and then wash like normal.
If a box has wrapped jadeite in it, (even broken ones, bummer) there might have been other good stuff in that box! behind that box was a box of vintage 80's kids books, too. I would go back the next day or even later in the afternoon to see if she slashed her prices even lower, plus with people digging, sometimes hidden items are uncovered! You do get it done, shopping like Taz! Maybe a Taz plush on your shelf would be cute, it depicts you to a T!

The Fenton peice has separate flower like shapes that goes into the holes. It has a name but can't remember. You have the base of the peice.

No, it’s not “epergne “ it’s just a candle holder different sizes and that kind of glass is “custard glass” and it will glow in a black UV light. I have one of those.
No that fenton yellow thing is a candle holder. You can put different size candles in it. Not a cheapie. I got one as a gift in 1971. Mine is a soft blue marble color. By now, you have probably sold it.

Just ordered the shoe cleaner from Amazon thru your link. Those are some big garage sales. I need to spend more time looking for them. My eBay sales are okay but china and glass can sit for awhile. I need to diversify more and going to the bins is not as good as it use to be for clothes and shoes.

@Michaelle Mcgill I did recently sell 8 dessert dishes. They were hand painted and old. I’ve got a lot of Stangl and other stuff. I’m slowly getting rid of some stuff. Not to Goodwill though. It goes to the little church thrift stores.
