  • In this video we do an analysis of Yealimi Noh's golf swing. She has a simple, elegant swing that we all should copy. At only 20 years old her swing is simply amazing...and yet another cool swing to study and super-talented player to follow on the LPGA Tour.

Hi. That was a very interesting comment on the tendency with the driver. I think I actually have a similar swing pattern (doesn't look anywhere as nice ofcourse) and have always needed fade bias clubs. Was also always a bad driver of the ball until I started playing the ball less forward with a lower tee and was striping it like the rest of my clubs without feeling any loss of distance.

Hi Winston, Thanks for the great comment! Which player has your favorite swing right now? Mike

Looks like a 30 to 35 degree angle from the hip to the elbow. Reminds me of a song from the hip bone to the elbow bone to the knee bone la la la la. Has to be done properly.🤠

Turns out she is tall, watched a repeat last night, quite a competitor. The one in the pink swinging skirt, just fell short.

you can't draw meaningful line angles on a 2d video that isn't shot from exactly behind or exactly square to the line of flight, so your analysis is off the mark. beautiful choice of subject, though - can't fault you on that 😀

@@mikewilsongolf here's some footage of her that is shot from right behind and face-on square, which you could use to redo your analysis (eg you'll see her takeaway isnt as much above the plane as you suggested from looking at it from the wrong angle):
