@Ronald McFondle because Religion is for Fools. That want to be controlled and Manipulated. Richard knew this to be the Truth and that is why He Had A Relationship With YAHWEH and Yashuah. And is more Alive than Ever with Them Right Now and Yashuah(jesus)Never said Anything Against lgbtq+ Folx (not what they were known as then, apparently) and not to make a distinction we are all in this Equally Together weather We Like it or not.... & May We All Come To The Way. I loved Little Richard. I once saw him at a post office in Hollywood in 2002, and he was standing in line just like everyone else. I couldn't believe I was looking at a true legend. And he was wearing a fire engine red suit and pancake makeup. What a day that was. R.I.P.

No disrespect. Elvis did not open the door he stood there and ushered white America inside: little richard picked the lock threw away the key ...! And took the door off its hinges. So Rock N Roll could walk on through!;)
Not taking anything away from Elvis of course..! A sublime talent also and worth his acclaim! Many would go on to build rock n roll even take it to new heights! But if a sky scraper !? Little Richard was the architect ;) and before those tall buildings there were houses and shacks

Almost all his #1 hits were written especially for him!
He never denied that his biggest influence came from black musicians!
But no black entertainer ever said that he stole their music!
      It was the opposite:
      Note from Little (Big) Richard:
"I thank God for sending Elvis!
He opened doors for us, without knowing it. And we could go through it. Singing my song " Tutti Frutti" made me a rich man. I love him!

Little Richard was so ahead of his time. My brother went to see him at his church about 15-20 years ago, and he told Little Richard how much he influenced his music (my brother was in bands for decades). When Little Richard found out my brother had cancer, he hugged him and asked everyone to pray for him. Neither of us are believers, but kindness doesn't need any religion. He was so talented, funny, outrageous, and just an awesome human being.

Repentance in the new testament means a change of mind, which involves turning away from the old life style & towards a new life style.Repentance is a process which lead to a relationship with God. When we honestly repent & seek forgiveness he forgives us. Now who are we to say that he did not REPENT?

His dad was an asshole who tried to tell him what to do, Little Richard wouldn't do as the guy wanted/told him and that would make the guy go into a rage. How does explaining that fact make it seem like he was blaming himself? He knew that was fucked up and wrong.

I have been watching a lot of clips/interviews of this legend recently, and what strikes me in the clips throughout the years that besides being extremely funny ... he was actually really deep and profound behind all of the jokes and laughs (with the tears of a clown). That makes him just a real person with a real story, beyond the fact that he was indeed the architect of R&R. THAT makes me connect even more. THAT is what I want to learn from a person ... beyond the music, as it then gets meaning. Where would we have been without Little Richard (and the likes of those days).

    • @faithtyson1181
      @faithtyson1181 4 роки тому +11

Seems he had been hurting all these years but he used his music and his flambouyancy to cover the pain.
The energy he puts in his performances especially in the early days was maybe his way if getting rid of the pain and the conflict, rebellion. The drugs.....going back and forth from the church to R&R and vice versa.
He couldn't understand y his father did not love him. That is reason for a male child to rebel.
      It's a shame.
We must love our children no matter what.
The world grew to love and respect him though.
Happy he is now resting in peace in the arms of Jesus.
