My grandmother lived to be 102! Maybe the first thing is a corn sheller and the second one is a food mill! I have two of them. I use them to make grape jelly and to juice tomatoes.
It’s a really old food mill. I have a new one and I use it to remove the seeds from my garden tomatoes when I can my sauce. You put the tomatoes in and turn the handle, and it pushes the juice/pulp through the holes. Take care!
My mom had one. She called it a river, but the purpose was to grind things into "rice" shaped grains. My granny ground dried corn into coarse meal to fry stuff in😉❗
The one with the handle is a food mill. It is for straining seed and larger parts of tomatoes and fruits out. Used in canning. They still make them today but most canner get the faster and more modern food mills.
I was watching this gardener and he planted onions with the strawberries. He said that deer and other animals do not like onions. I don’t like the smell of them and therefore they leave the strawberries alone.
It’s a juicer! We had one when I was a kid. My parents used it to can tomato juice. They put blanched quartered tomatoes in there and it got the juice out of the tomatoes!
My mom used the pot with the turning handle to grind down fruits when she was making jelly so that the seeds weren't in the jelly. She also used it for juicing tomatoes, so the skins would be left behind.
Always look forward to having my afternoon coffee with Moss Family tv 🥰🌷💐🍒🍋💗✝ Have a lovely evening!🥰🌷💐🍒🍋💗✝ Dolly is 78 :), I think that tool is for planting seeds, and the round thing with the crank is a food mill. You put things that have seeds and skins like tomatoes, or potatoes etc and it grinds the pulp and leaves the skins and seeds.
Dolly is 78 ❤ I had a patient who was 101 years old and I asked her what was her favorite age and she said 70 years old because you finally feel relaxed don't stress over anything 🤷♀️. Titus thats an old flour sifter . Drink some hot honey tea Falon ❤ Night Moss family .
Two of my daughters had extreme bronchitis and even strep at times. I insisted that they take them out. Their problems dropped to nothing after we did this. Praise God. Great video! You always make me hungry and put a smile on this face! 😊😊😊😊😊😊 God bless all here.
Hiya Titus is right. The item you asked about is a ricer. I've seen them used for ricing potatos for a very smooth (mashed) potatoes. Use the ricer for anything that needs to be smooth. The other item.... Sorry waaay before my time! Oh, and I was given Jello, not ice cream, when I got my tonsils out!
My son just had his tonsils removed at the end of February! lol They did get away from doing them so much unless they are enlarged and causing sleep apnea in children. I did not surprise me that my son needed his removed, because I did as well due to enlarged tonsils when I was about his age. He definitely loved all the icees! lol
We have one of those planter things too and my husband has been replacing handles on old axes and sledges hammer that was his grandpa's tools. I love all the old stuff!!!
The accurate name for the turn handle item you have on your back porch is called a Food Mill my family has used one for years making various juices and apple butter. Thank you for being honest on your channel and sharing God's Love while you do it.
You need to get you an antihistamine non drowsy. That pan is a thing you use to get seeds out out of tomatoes when making juice or seeds out of grapes when making wine or grape juice. My parents had one. I helped can tomato juice as a teenager. Plus helped my Dad make wine.
We always add bell peppers and onion all together cook the patties and put it in the graveyard and cook all that together very very good from nelliespitler
That tool is a tree sapling planter. You hold the little trees in the canister then pound the end in the ground and spread away the soil then drop the sapling in. …. I think😁
As soon as I turned 40, things that never bothered me started bothering me. Our systems go through a change, and it's usually not a good one, lol. Good luck, and maybe try Claritan or its generic form. It might help.
Unfortunately Falon, the older I get the more allergies I develop. I didn't used to be allergic to anything but now my list keeps growing. Bless your sweet family. Your supper looked so good.
Hi Moss Family! I love your videos and watch daily! You are the cutest little family! Sissy should paint some rocks to look like strawberries and put them in her little patch to deter birds from eating them once they start to turn red!❤😊
The first thing is a planter. You could use that with seeds to make your garden. The second thing is a food sieve. My mom used one every time she made tomato juice or jelly. It smashes the fruit/veg and presses the juice through without seeds or skins. 😉 Sure love watching Moss family!!😊❤
My nephew's mother in law will be 106 next month. Originally from the Philippines, she uses a walker & makes her clothes without a sewing machine. I love pinto beans and cornbread hmmmm! I hope Manny's cow recovers!
Both my grandsons had their tonsils out . Which meant memaw got a list to pick up of all the ice cream and pop cycles they would need to recuperate lol
Enjoyed your video that is a corn dropper to plant with you can use it for beans too to plant the boy is out growing the cow lol breakfast looked good God Bless Helen from West Virginia
That tall thing with the handle is a corn planter... other thing we used to make tomato juice, placed it over the juice cooker put cooked tomatoes in it and turned it forward then back, round and round.
Dolly 90 😂 That Country Veggie Plate With Cornbread 😋 😋 My Kinda Food..Was Raised Like That..Meat Is Good, But I Dont Have To Have It All The Time 😅 But Those Veggies..I'll Eat Everyday..Yall Be Blessed Sweet Moss Family ❤😊
Titus you make me laugh I'm 65 and people think I'm lie in to them. My body feels it and I don't get all this technology it frustrating to me. Hash brown anything I'm game for. God bless you all 💖
Yep coming earlier made all the difference! See? Old dogs can learn new tricks. 😅 I sure do wish I liked beans. I’d totally grow them. I hear they’re super easy to grow, save and put up. Plus their flowers are beautiful. Y’all had the hubby looking at me sideways because I’m giggling so hard during the Dolly discussion. That could be an old corn planter. 🤷♀️ Not sure about the other thing. Great grama had one but never saw her use it.
I think your old ‘pot’ is a sieve, to strain tomatoes, or fruit. We still use those on a bigger scale today lol
Yes I have us d it too make apple butter, and the get persimmon pulp
I have one and use it to crush blackberries for jam
Your mystery item is used to grind up tomatoes for juice. But it has many uses!
As you navigate this Tuesday, may the power of positive thinking help you overcome negativity and self-doubt, and may you cultivate a mindset of optimism, hope, and confidence in your abilities. Have a Beautiful and Blessed evening/ day and week ahead. See you next video. Stay safe and healthy. God Bless.

@@raquelweber3287 hey sweet friend. How's your day been?!
@@yvettegerry9862 hey sweet friend. It's been pretty good. How are you doing today?!
My grandmother lived to be 102! Maybe the first thing is a corn sheller and the second one is a food mill! I have two of them. I use them to make grape jelly and to juice tomatoes.
You know Manly is getting too old for his cow when he has discussions with Falon over it😂❤
That's a corn planter, I think.
My grandma taught me many years ago to put water in the pan and boil whatever is stuck out. It works really well.
it's a Ricer, but used for taters! Place your boiled taters in it spin that handle and it "rices" the taters for mashed taters
It’s a really old food mill. I have a new one and I use it to remove the seeds from my garden tomatoes when I can my sauce. You put the tomatoes in and turn the handle, and it pushes the juice/pulp through the holes. Take care!
We have been saving eggshells for planting seeds. Add some soil and a seed or 2, plant the whole thing. Shells help fertilize the plant.
It’s a sieve to use when you make tomatoe juice . We also use ours when we make homemade apple sauce
My mom had one. She called it a river, but the purpose was to grind things into "rice" shaped grains. My granny ground dried corn into coarse meal to fry stuff in😉❗
I keep an oil rag under my kitchen sink just for my cast iron. Your strainer was for persimmons. It was used to mash them.
Second thing is a food mill. My grandmother had a newer one that would also crush ice for homemade snow cones with grape juice in the summer.
The one with the handle is a food mill. It is for straining seed and larger parts of tomatoes and fruits out. Used in canning. They still make them today but most canner get the faster and more modern food mills.

That’s a beautiful plate.... I love the way you care for your family
Dolly Parton's 78 years old
You can also use it to mash potatoes.
Corn planter and juicer. I love all your vintage items on your porch!! Looks great! ❤
Thank you! 💕🤗
My mom used the pot with the turning handle to grind down fruits when she was making jelly so that the seeds weren't in the jelly. She also used it for juicing tomatoes, so the skins would be left behind.
I have no idea what the first thing is, but the second one is a food mill. Kinda like an old time food processor.
Dinner looks delicious
Looks like a food mill.
Falon I have learned more from you about cooking, shopping, holiday planning, than any other channel ❤ Thank you!
A food mill for doing any variety of soft or cooked fruits, making applesauce, ect. Like an old fashioned food processor
My granny had one of those. She used it to get the seeds out of berries to make jelly.
I love any green!
Yummy dinner, I’m all about the sides ! Dolly is 78 years young ! I love Dolly!

Corn planter and a ricer. The ricer smooshes potatoes or other things thru the holes. Yes, smooshes is a culinary term. 😂
We always add bell peppers and onion all together cook the patties and put it in the graveyard and cook all that together very very good from nelliespitler

We put cooked boiled apples in that last old pan and when you turned it , it would squeeze the mushed apples and juice out and leave the peels
