A few things to help you:
1. This isn’t Earth, it’s another planet that was being mined (edit: called Copper9)
2. Stuff like clothes and even the hair were taken off of dead bodies because the robots thought it looked neat!
3. More stuff gets explained in later videos but also more questions come up.

Ok, I don't think anyone discusses this, but did anyone notice that Serial Designation J quotes this?
"With this colony wiped, We'll make top team for sure!"
This implies that there are more than just 3 murder drones.
This also implies that at any time, a new murder drone could be introduced in the series.
Not only that, but whenever the spaceship we see in the beginning gets repaired, more antagonists and protagonists could be introduced from other planets and exoplanets instead of the main characters only being N, V, J, Uzi, Doll, Khan, Absolute Solver, and Nori. (maybe Thad and Yeva too?)
Take a moment to let that sink in.

I don’t know why people miss obvious things like that - but it might just be because I like lore idk?
Also at the end of the pilot, there were more ships going to Copper-9 (the planet the Drones are on)
And at the end of Episode 3 Tessa and others land.
With the outro to ep 3 (aka when the pods started falling down to copper 9), it's very much possible that we will see new drones

About the j one she said This colony so she is talking about 1 specific colony meaning there are maybe more colonies with more worker drones

The reason the drones wear clothes is purely for fashion.
They take clothes and hair from the dead humans to make each one of them unique.
