I've visited several retirement homes for family members and even worked in one for a while. Yours however, is special. Thank you for your work, for helping the elderly have a beautiful encore to their life. I wish everyone could spend their last years in a place like yours.
6 minutes in and i'm in tears.. Steffan is the best.. I am so happy he was found and brought into the family.. ok, video finished and tears are streaming.. such a beautiful video
He has great potential behind the screen, he’s very well experienced and has a great personality and great people skills….. he’s one of the very few for everyone at any age can look up to
Who would've thought a weekday trip to the city to celebrate these lovely women would lead to such an adventure!! SO honored to be a part of this. Meeting Dorothy, Patricia and Barbara made our month! A group of us went to their retirement home on Friday to spend time with the residents. We had such a good time, had great conversations, and were given so much sage advice. One of us was even adopted by one of the women 😄 Thank you Ammar and Staffan for allowing us to be a part of this ❤
That you guys went to the retirement home after we been there is 🥹 And the adoption story shows that everyone in the Yes Fam Community can be adopted by an elder 😎
Thank you Ashley and to the other amazing volunteers who visited after the surprise celebration! Your support made a lasting impact on the residents and to The Redwoods team! #volunteerheroes
This really does change my perspective of what it means to be 80, 90, 100 years old. I always though living to 80 would be a great feat, but now I'm realizing that's still so young, there is a lot of life to be lived well into our later years.
If there's a will, there's a way! Retirement or aging doesn't have to be boring. We encourage our residents to stay engaged by asking them what they want to do next. That'll be the question you'll have to ask yourself in your later years, thanks for watching!
At 50 I feel like I'm still approaching middle age. Figuring out how to get healthy was important though. Proper diet, physical activity, and social connections.
I lost my grandma this year and i made sure to go over each and every sunday for Lunch, just talking with her. The past 4 years i went over to her's 3 times a week to take care of her, miss ya grandma
Thank you guys so much for that wonderful, uplifting video. I am 63 and feeling life is over but seeing this has filled me full of hope and energy. I cried. To hear them enjoying the betals was wonderful. I was not born when the first Betals songs were hits yet grew up in the 60s just hearing them all. Amazing video, full of love, hope and kindness. Thank you SO MUCH 😊 GOING TO WATCH THE TRIP TO AUSTRALIA NOW. 102! I COULD have another 30 /40 yearsb😊

There are enough people like Dorothy, only the problem is that they're 'invisible' to society as they spend their last years in retirement homes with an ever decreasing number of visitors. Sad to think about
This might be my all time favorite yes theory video. There are incredible stories you guys share from all over the world, but this one hit different. Seeing the excitement on their faces over a bus ride, walking into a group of young people with smiles and arms wide open was a beautiful thing to see. This retirement home is actually local to me and makes me want to go volunteer to hear these stories and experience this level of joy and acceptance just from showing up. I cant wait to see this Australian adventure
You won't regret it! You can learn so much from them, and they really just want to feel and experience a little excitement in their life and possibly gain a new friend along the way. Hearing their life experiences alone are worth millions to the ones that truly listen. I miss working with the elderly. It was such an amazing feeling to know that I was making their last days special, and they were making mine healthier. Often, they give advice that will really make you think about your own life path. I wish you the best, and I hope you do visit them. You won't regret it. ❤

BEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL !!!
11:06 Patricia happy birthday to beautiful women! Hearing her say “no one said that for many years” kinda broke me. Just such quick comment probably made her day 😢❤ just beautiful
I've been volunteering with the elderly and worked with them for years. Many have such great stories and experiences, and just spending 10 minutes talking to someone can make their week. If you go to a cafe on your own and see an elderly person sitting by themselves, please go up, ask to join them and chat to them. I used to work in a cafe where a lot of elderly came once a week just to get some human interaction, and it is soo rewarding to get to know them or introduce them to another regular customer.

Stefan! Way to make my cry for half of the video, I lost my 88 yr old great grandmother last year and that was a hard hit, currently my grandma faubert is 93 and JUST this year retired. Shes crisp and clear and has been a realtor all her life, she's looking into moving out by me because we are close and into a nursing home. Whenever she moves here and I go to visit her, I'm gonna try and be like Stefan and make everyone around, not just my grandma, feel appreciated
My grandmother is 91 years old and every morning I call her and have a check in with her and I think it’s amazing what you did for these amazing women ❤
This video got me incredibly emotional. My grandma lived with us and was my best friend when I was growing up. She eventually moved into a retirement home that was more of an apartment building, more independent living. They’d gather in the community center in the building for events and such too. I loved visiting my grandma there, and she was always so excited to introduce me to all her friends- she knew everybody! 🥲 She passed 6 years ago, and I miss her dearly. The elderly have always had a warm place in my heart bc of my Grandma Grace. I’m glad you got to fulfill this dream of visiting a retirement home, Staffan 🫶🏻😊

"why we send so many of them away" exactly that's so sad. in my culture it's so important to look after our older parents after we are grown up. And this way our kids even see and love their grandparents even more.

I'm half way done and already sent the link to another person telling them how cute this video is and that they'll love it! Grandparents are the best!!
It hits so much harder when both your Grandparents have passed, this just made me remember how much I wish I could be with them again for one day.
Please do more!! 😊
This video is bringing the biggest smile to my face! The content you guys have been putting out is remarkable! Love from Texas 🫶🏼
Each new Yes theory adventure I watch always leaves me crying like a wreck and being so absolutely filled with hope and love! Thank you for teaching us all to Seek Discomfort 💜
It pulls the love and joy to flow through us all.♥
The most wholesome video this year!! Much love to you all❤
My eyes are aching. I always admire older people because who knows their whole life story. They’ve made it so many years! That’s admirable in itself. Let’s love and respect those up there in age. Much Love!
This is the sweetest video I’ve ever seen filled with so much love! We must connect with our elders. 🎉
I'm in tears watching this. This was such a beautiful thing you've done for these lovely ladies. Our elderly is usually left behind and unappreciated, these people are truly the greatest generation that have ever lived. God bless you guys and all these lovely ladies
You guys make the world a better place ❤
I was in tears the entire time while watching this!!! Thank you for this beautiful and inspirational video. So much love for you guys and the joy, kindness, and compassion you bring to this world.

When Staffan retires, he's going to create the most amazing senior care community.
This is so beautiful. The love flowing from the screen during the party overflowed my heart.
Amazing, as always 💗💞
this was such a beautiful video. Humanity needs more of this
Guys, this has made me feel so happy today! I've been a caregiver/home health worker for 30 years. Our elders are so often overlooked and lonely. Beautiful people, all of you! Thank you for doing this!
i really think that this video is the most beautiful one on youtube. its beautiful to watch!!
Such a beautiful video! I hope that this amazing story reminds all the people that watched this video to always take care of their elders even with small gestures, like buying them flowers or just having a conversation ❤️ We all have so much to learn from our elders.
this video genuinely needs 7 billion views
What?! only 7 billion, that means a billion haven't watched it.
Wow, this was so incredibly moving to watch! You definitely hit on a real issue in Canada and the US..we need elders in our lives! I wept during parts of this video.. you brought them so much joy! What beautiful connections! Thank you for doing this!
I’m so excited to see the adventure to Australia.
Beatiful action guys! As the human is getting used to the individual environment and they are probably used to living in this retirement home, a special day like this felt like going to a festival or a football game for us! Keep that in mind
I've followed you guys for years... this is one of the most touching and amazing videos you've put out to date. The sheer joy on the ladies faces the whole time you were around them and their gratitude to the time and kindness you gave them ❤Cannot wait to see your adventures with Dorothy!
Staffan has brought so much energy and love to Yes Theory. Thank you for bringing him on. Outstanding episode
I found Yes Theory through some mountain hiking videos, but I stayed mainly because of Staffan. The energy and love he brings to every video makes them incredibly fun and comforting for me to watch. I doubt he'll see this, but if he does... know that you're awesome Staffan and you have fans!
And you're definitely achieving your dream of inspiring young people around the world :)
Bro was in his element
Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love you guys anymore! Thank you for loving the elderly! I too, have a heart and passion for seniors and it warms my heart to see you giving them the love and attention they deserve!
I am deaf, I watched almost all the videos on your Yes Theory channel, which I loved, and thank you very much for the subtitles, as they helped me understand better.
Love this, it is so beautiful. I really needed to see this celebration of life with the elderly. My parents are both 85 and not doing so great. I cherish every moment with them, even the little things.
Thanks my mom works there
And thanks for the private video
Give her a hug, from Denmark 😊
We were so happy to have met your mum. She and the rest of the team are such legends doing this work for the elders. Happy the video we sent via her reached you.
This. More of this please. What a neat and rewarding connection you all had. You guys made their day/month/year. ❤
