You have the same issue I do. They both look good for different reasons and that makes it hard to choose. It's not like one is obviously too small or one is obviously too big.

Love my 58mm New Wayferers...definitely has a premium feel. Glass lenses. Odd..my non-polarized shades seem to reduce glare still...heh...do I wonder how necessary polarized versions are..
The 55mm look a lot different but I think it’s because the mirrored blue lenses distract from the size and shape. If at all possible, do you think you could do a comparison video just like this but with identical frames in the future?

I had a 52 new wayfarer 2 years ago, i have a 55 justin now. Want to order a matte black new wayfarer blue flash, but the 52 new wayfarer looked kinda small on my face. Is there a lot of difference in 55 justin vs 55 new wayfarer?
55mm is best IMO. If you measure it, they're actually 53.5mm. Because the outer frame is smaller/thinner than Original Wayfarer's, they're actually about the same 'size' as 50mm Original Wayfarer's which have a bigger outer frame instead of bigger lenses. I was surprised how small 55mm were in-person and on my face, I definitely wouldn't go 52mm unless you have a very small face and they may also clamp on the head which will be uncomfortable after a while. 55mm overall is the sweet spot to me in terms of fit & coverage.
There is more of a difference than the 55 vs 52 measurement. The 55's also look bigger vertically which changes the look more.. the smaller ones look more like the originals and more square.
I have annotations on, but I'm still not seeing the poll. On the 58mm vs 55mm, I went with 58mm; so I'm thinking bigger seems to be better with these frames. Eagerly awaiting 58mm vs 116mm vid. :D

If someone could give me an idea of what number they could be I'd appreciate it. I bought a pair of 2140 901/58 50 22 3p and they are MASSIVE, heavy, and thick, and tilted forward from bottom to top way too much. My old ones were just nice compact and straight. Compact versions of these. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Dear friend, please go for RB 2132 901L 55 New Wayfarer. It is the lightest version. 901 L means glossy Light version. New Wayfarer has no tilt.But it is more compact than orginal 2140 wayfarer
52 is small size......if you have very small face go for it. 55 mm is the STANDARD size (for this particular model) and above 90% people it is the correct one....
How is that when other glasses have a different standard size smaller.. The originals had a smaller size, and another glasses I bought enemy sunglasses have a standard size of 52

Yup i agree i did the same thing. I thought i had a tiny head and went wiith the 52. It looked like i was wearing kids glasses. Go with the 55 most guys wear 55 unless you are really really small.

I oredered the orginal wayfarer medium and they were to big for my head. With new wayfarer I ordered the 52mm and they felt small and now only go a pair of sunglasses new wayfarer 55. But this guy just looks good witht he two sizes.... I am so confused now, I think I will just order the 55 one like I did with my other pairs that was stolen out of my car 😡😎
I was lucky to find them always back hahaha But last month they stole two in my open car now only have one pair but now this vid make me wonder I would take a 52 or a 55 I got a 55 but seems to big, even I had bought a 52 and found them rather small like kids. Now I am confused again hahaha...

Both look good, 52 better shape, 55 better colour scheme. I got the 52's and have a small face - 127mm temple to temple - and they fit so well

52mm is better for us thinner face types. I prefer the smaller lense because it feels closer to the original look of the time period (1960s )

The 55 fits you better, more balanced. I owned the 52 and it's too small.
55mm with the normal lenses, I think that mirror finish makes them look bigger than they actually are.
Why don't you mention are the lenses made of glass or polymer

Sure. I also think the 55's looks more "rounded". The 52's was too small for me, I sold mine, gonna get another pair of the 55's.
You are very correct. The vertical height changes a lot. The 52s look very rectangular, and that completely changes the style
