I agree, the material is really really nice. Just got my bag home and I am happy like Eeyore putting my stuff in and taking it out again. I like the extra protection that the flap offers. Well, we have not been out yet. Time will tell how it behaves. I could not find space for more than one battery. I need a thingy for memory cards and cables. Some external pockets...
UPDATE: 4 years ago I bought this bag. I pulled out the insides and used it as my official work bag for four years. Every day! Macbook Air, earphones, charger, toothbrush, spare underwear -we never knew when things would go south. No signs of wear. Excellent materials and workmanship.
+110176628521548610513 Thanks so much! Black on black would be nice- kind of a link between classical ThinkTank design and this new look. Thanks again for watching :)
Thanks so much! I've once or twice carried a small tripod with a leg or two slid through the top (under the flap, with the zippered cover closed to protect the cameras). The closed top flap kind of holds it in place... it wasn't perfect but it can work in a pinch! :)
Thanks so much! I think it should but it might be a tight fit, so it would depend on what else you'd hope to fit in there together with it. The bag is pretty flexible so it should at least fit in the middle with other things on the side I would imagine. :)
Well it depends what the purpose of going out is ...I can usually shoot a full wedding, for example, on one battery per camera. Also, this is just meant as an example to show *what* could fit, but of course not necessarily a practical kit.
Yeah it's often nice to have those side pockets... I'm a little surprised they didn't include at least a little stretchy mesh type pocket here. Otherwise a great bag though :)
Thanks Scott, really great review. Have the smaller version and love it but as this size is on offer couldn’t resist.
Thanks for the detailed review.

Seems like the camera bag for me. Awesome video :).
Looks almost good. Without any sweat, they could have added a pocket for a passport and boarding pass and a web pouch for a water bottle.
For sure... the water bottle at the very least should be on nearly every bag in my opinion. Otherwise I've loved this :)
one of the coolest bags i've ever seen ; think-tanks are masters at bag making
+100783179720346604601 They really are, and this bag is so on the money, I love it!
I love this bag it lets me have two full frame nikon cameras plus long lens on it is so versatile
Definitely a versatile bag! :) Glad you love it!
Good review. Iam still waiting for a black version with black leather. That would-be a seller.

Is it really really nice?
Great review. This does seem like a well-thought bag. How about tripods?

Can my Canon 5DIII w/the attached Vello Battery Grip fit in the Signature 13? Great review!

Thanks so much! :)
Interesting, but no side pockets!
