Got to see his first Talladega win in person. Originally we weren't gonna go but once we say the race get postponed till Monday we decided to go for it. It was my second race at Talladega and overall a great day.
I was at 4:38 in person. Had such a good time and the race was great. Getting to watch Blaney hold off Byron and Larson for the W in the closest Michigan finish since electronic scoring from the stands was awesome!
Watched with my dad, uncle, and oldest brother. Never been huge into Nascar like them but was an exciting finish to watch. Very fond memory to look back on now that my dad has passed.
Ross Chastain actually won that last race at Phenoix, I know Blaney won the championship but he still didn't win the race, perfect example of why the playoff system sucks, William Byron had the most consistent season as a whole, championships should be based on points, not winning just certain races, it makes some races far more important than others, every last race should be equally important
Only 10 wins in the cup and he's been there for a while now and 3 of them are Talladega where anyone can win...that's not that good he's so over rated...got 3 wins in 2023 and wins the championship like cmon...if it was the old real system as in whoever has the most points from race 1 to last race he would never ever win a championship...why? @@user-mt8se1et8r than why is it the same people always in the mix to win the championship then? Denny, Logano, chase, Martin, Kyle Busch if it was so easy Ty Dillon or bubba Wallace or even Daniel Suarez should be in the mix but the thing is it’s not easy it’s very hard
