Printing Vinyl and Mounting onto Board

Watch how the production team at Scribes Digital Print print onto self adhesive vinyl using an Epson S40600 solvent printer, in the video we are using a standard monomeric vinyl.
Once printed the vinyl is cut to a manageable size and mounted to a sheet of 1500 micron display board using a mounters mate flatbed application table, the sheet is then trimmed to size using a Keencut cutting bar which is able to cut though material such as foamboard, correx or heavy weight card.
This method of creating one off display boards is great however for mass production we would consider that a flatbed printer and printing direct to the board would be more cost effective.
