Snorkeling Keauhou Bay 4K

Michelle and I went to Kona Honu Divers first thing In the morning to buy a pair of Free Diving fins. I forgot my fins and booties at home, I had my Dive fins but without the booties they are worthless. We had a dive booked later in the week with Kona Honu Divers as well. The cool thing about Free diving fins is you can wear them Scuba Diving they are just a tad longer then normal dive fins. We wanted to see how the snorkeling was around our resort (Outrigger resort and Spa Kona) so we headed down to the boat ramp at Keauhou Bay. The Outrigger Hotel is situated on Keauhou Bay bordered by rough Lava flows/ rocks. The best way to safely access the water is by walking down the road to the marina and jumping off the dock/ walking down the boat ramp. At first there wasn't all that much to see other than a bunch of urchins and a large boat anchor. But as we swam out farther away from there marina the underwater scenery became more gorgeous. By the time we made it near the hotel the wind started to pick up and the water became a lot more choppy. Michelle and I decided to head back in and hit the pool at the resort. Stay tuned for next weeks video, we took the GoPro down the water slide at the pool. later in the day I flew my drone and we met up with family.
