This is so spot on! I’m a 2/4 reflector that was recently let go from a toxic work environment and the comments you made about us “reflecting” back the toxicity is so right! I was made to believe it was me, but really it was the environment. 🤷🏽♀️ it’s hard out here for us reflectors!
Hi Elvia, Thanks for the comment. I definitely had jobs were the environment was so bad that I had to quit. You're correct, It is tough out here for is Reflectors.
Im a reflector 6/2. Im an entrepreneur since I’m 24. I work from home since I’m 33. I write and sell children’s books on Amazon through KDP and I run blogs!
I isolate myself a lot. I travelled a lot in my life and even lived overseas for couple of years (USA)
I got burnt out and sick couple of years ago because of my travelling business in high fashion and still haven’t recovered!
I’m 39, battled breast cancer and hope for a turning point in my life like Right the F now 🙏

My partner was amused that I once said, “Perhaps I’m just not meant for work.” after a contract job ended and I was so healthy and stress less. No matter how much fulfillment or sprints of happiness I feel at a job, I fall back to a cycle of feeling extremely trapped.
Going into my late thirties, I finally have enough years of evidence to see the type of things I’ve continued to do regardless of job changes. My jobs generally go well, and they’ve gotten closer and closer to what I enjoy, but the effect on my mental state has been similar - draining. I hope I find the courage and clarity to turn things I do outside of jobs - very much related to writing and metaphysics - into my career.
Thanks for the comment. 😊 I hope clarity comes for you too! I'm 37 and have been self employed for 8 years. I gve up working for others because I never felt satisfied and knew I needed more of a say in my schedule. I love writing and metaphysics as well. 🙏💜😊
@@DesireeClemons Thank you for the reply! I often wonder, aren’t focus and persistence other barriers to reflectors starting their own business? For me that’s the challenge, going through different business ideas and distracted by different plans, even though the big picture is that would be ideal for many reflectors.
@@nature-spirituality Hmm, yes distraction and jumping from idea to idea is common for Reflectors.
I met a Reflector who claimed to have had over 75 jobs so far in his lifetime! So yes constantly changing career directions is a possibility, but from the feedback I get from other Reflectors is that this distraction is temporary.
I know Reflectors that have had the same job for over 20 years, and others who are content working for themselves.
I personally noticed being self employed for 8 years is that after a few years I need to change directions because I start feeling trapped and uninspired.
But in order for my businesses to stay running, I needed other people.
Reflectors can easily work for themselves and enjoy setting their own hours, however if you're looking for a decent income then you'll probably need to work with other Types 😊
@@DesireeClemons That is such a clear and interesting way to put it. And thanks for the insights and anecdotes! I think it’s helpful to plan for caveats specific to reflectors when wanting to start a business.
In my past projects, I’d branch out so much that no consistent product or income stream came out of it. That’s why “work with other types” puts company jobs or freelance in such a clear context. I’m also seeing the Reflector benefit to getting a business coach early on once I get on self employed path, for the reason you described!

I'm reflector 4/6. I found out it for a little bit more than a year and knowing that I'm a reflector was a relief for so may reasons. Even I now understand more my self in some many ways I'm still trying to figure more about how align been reflector to my career. I'm 32 years old, from Brazil and I came here to seek more tips to help in this time of my life and I think that I'm almost there and want to thank you for sharing all of this !

I’m definitely not meant to work for other people. I need to understand the lines better.
I had absolutely no idea what human design was until my partner introduced me to the calendar 3 years ago, when we completed the specs he was more than astonished to see I was a Reflector . Aft reading the traits I was a believer and now had an understanding why I never did my best at a 9-5 with predominantly generator mentality. It’s good to understand where I fit
I recently discovered that I am a reflector 4/6. Since I can remember I have felt that I am extremely empathic, taking in the energies of whomever I am around. I used to think something was wrong with me because depending on who I was with, I would show a different side of myself. I work as a registered nurse, and my job is so exhausting. I often feel completely spent when I get home. Between my patients and the go go go energy of my coworkers, I feel totally spread thin.
Discovering my reflector nature gives me more insight into how I can nurture my energy and understand it more, but I feel that being a nurse in this beurocratic system, where I am seemingly dispensable, is not sustainable for me.

I know a lot of Reflectors who work in healing or in the medical field and I can see how you'd feel the way you do about the modern health care system.
Taking time for your self and becoming familiar with the different energies you experience will be a tremendous help in feeling balanced and calm amongst choas, especially at work.

I found so many parts of this video so validating. Especially the social media part! It is also so true that we are natural healers, I have been nursing for almost 10 years but the toxic environments always suck me dry

I am a 51 reflector that just finished my fifth year of teaching special ed and I have never been so miserable in my entire life. I am a single parent of five children, so I obviously have to work. But I am so unhappy and feel so stuck. I have a masters degree, an undergrad degree in gender and women’s studies, and a cosmetology license. I’ve never been able to figure out my life and I’m just at the point where I don’t even know what to do anymore and I’m so sad.
Hi Angie, thanks for commenting and I understand what you're saying. I'm also a single mom, almost finished with my Masters and never feel content with a job/career for more than a few years. Working a normal job can feel so restricting yet finding a way out when you have children or a household to maintain can make life seem miserable. My heart goes out to you and your family and I hope you're able to find peace among chaos.
Sometimes when life seems like I don't have control, I reach out to fellow counselors or coaches and sometimes just having a listening ear is extremely beneficial.
For the past few years I've been practicing zen like teachings and viewing the world as a place of play instead of work. This has helped me brush off little things and begin to start looking at life from a larger perspective.

I know exactly how you feel Angie! Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. I am 40 and have felt stuck for years! I like you have a family I must support. Not sure what to do.. I have felt lost or stuck in my life for years! With our last child my wife went through some postpartum depression and it almost wrecked us! Now knowing I am a reflector brings so much understanding to why and how her depression affected me so profoundly. I can’t give up, and I won’t give up.. I tell myself on a daily basis.. “Life is simple, but NOT easy”

Hello! I am also a 5/1 reflector with left angle cross of distraction. I hope that doesn’t mean I’m just here to be a bother, or do a comedy show, I want to lead too! Much of this video resonates. Another infamous reflector is the UA-camr Teal Swan (6/4), which fits with the controversies that surround her and her astrology aspects.
I find great things come to me when I allow my heart space to flow. I need to be around good wholesome people who don’t define me by their own insecurities or projections. I love to write poetry and I am currently storyboarding an adventure series! Drawing and painting helps too. I’m not sure we have NO energy, there are phases in the month I have incredible physical drive. I’ve watched my diet to the extreme and while I am extremely picky with what food (and media) I consume, it’s really allowed me to flow and live my best life.

Older reflector here. Recently made aware about HD and not looking to change career but very interested about learning strategy for myself. Ordered the book about HD determination but that got nulled maybe because Mercury retrograde...Good leads toward learning more are appreciated.
Mercury retrograde was a pain in the butt this time for me too! I'm working on converting the blog posts about Centers into videos and a longer video covering all profiles so there is more HD videos to come. 😊

Same to I have felt drained after every job. I work in an insurance office with just one other person and I feel okay here. But since there is no boss we can kind of work when we work and chill when work isn't coming toward us

1/3 is it a good idea to be a nurse or a truck driver or a police officer or FBI agent which one is the best fit
You can try them all, but honestly I can't tell this through your profile alone. A whole chart analysis would need to be done.

Hey! 🤗 Well, there's a few things Human Design and Ra says about this. I don't have a video or blog post on it yet but here are a few insights. I can explain more if something stands out.
1. We mirror the other person
2. We get disappointed when we place expectations on others
3. Those who can be around us for a long time have stronger fractals
4. We're great in bed
5. We can get conditioned and lose ourselves when around others for too long
6. Sleep alone

Not specific to a reflector...but what if you were born premature. I know that might not matter to your birth time but does it matter to your date of design?
Hi Terri, I'll try to answer this best I can,
There is a video of Ra talking about this but I forget what's its labeled. Anyhow, the design happens around 3 months (I forgot the exact days) prior to birth. Ra said that premature individuals do not need as much time to form as long as others.
It can be believed that the design of that person was formed faster based upon past life experiences/soul experiences/needed purpose here/cosmic influence.
But the real purpose of why a person is here is analyzed through a chart reading.
So I guess some people just form quicker, even though that's paradoxical to society. Everything is always on time. 🙏💜😊
