I’m a MG 2/5 and used to struggle with my hermit side, thinking there was something desperately wrong with my desire and comfort with being alone. Admittedly I can tend to isolate A LOT but I’ve learned to accept this side of myself and feel my way through my push pull instincts to withdraw then be seen. I just learned about my profile and it explains so much. Thanks for this video!
Hi! 2/5 here! I work as a software engineer and my “higher ups” are constantly involving me in design meetings that I don’t necessarily want to be in. On the one hand I usually help in a significant way to improve the design but on the other hand my hermit side wants to be left alone 😂.
I also can see now that people see me as they want to see me, sometimes in a negative way and sometimes in a positive way. When people see me in a negative way it baffles me because I know myself so well and I know I don’t have negative intentions most of the time. When people see me in a positive way I unconsciously use that to my advantage, but I do try to not manipulate people though lol.

It’s interesting to hear this. I got a 2/5 Generator through the Human Design app and searched this up. The part that resonated with me most was the fact that when people are in need of solutions, they usually look for me, but once the solution is solved, I become invisible. I’ve struggled with not taking this personally in the past because I have a lot of gifts that I can share - and I do, I have! But others that don’t necessarily have what I have, they’re the ones that are kept around. Like you said though, trust the process. Trust my gifts. The right people will come around that will help provide the fuel, and in turn I’ll be able to use my gifts in the most fulfilling way. Thank you. God Bless You.

I’m a 2/5 profile. I sense this clash between hermit and heretic, tbh alltogether is often confusing to me. Hermit is the easiest part of my design, heretic the most misterious and at the same time having a reflector type of aura is definetly the most challenging to me.
