In Australia, you have some good rock climbing cliffs, but the mountains are sort of big hills which are a bit bigger than 2000m. As soon as you get into Oceania, suddenly the mountaineering objectives are steep and technical like in New Zealand and Carstensz in PNG. There's little options for decent sized beginner friendly stuff like there might be in Colorado.

Carstensz is not in PNG, Carstensz in Central Papua, Indonesia.
Good to know about your environmental concerns and you are doing your part. But what is your view of the waste, human and environmental abuse of the Grasberg mine? If Rio TInto had to be stopped in Australia, don't you think this is an even bigger concern? The Americans have been/are heavily involved in this operation. I think it is the duty of all who climb this mountain, but especially Americans, to bring it to the world's attention.
Excellent series of seven summits. Thank you for producing it.
Glad you enjoy it!

The most important thing you need for Carstensz is...money.
