BIG zamrock influence on this one. someone's been spinning the Ngozi bros in isolation, i reckon. love it! Zambia '76 by way of NYC 2020 with a sprinkling of 90s NYC thrown in to BOOT, get it? love you Mose, keep it coming!
Kinda reminds me of Ice and the Iced, a bit bluesier though. Or something. Whatever, if you like this listen to "We've Had Enough Now" by Ice and the Iced.
every DIY band releases albums on cassette tapes now. I really don’t understand why, cassettes are easy & cheap to make tho buts it not a very accessible format.
@@bulletbelt97 it's not that hard or expensive to get a tape player. I'd argue it's more accessible than vinyl. If you're after accessibility then just stream it. The way I see it, tapes and vinyl are the only 2 physical formats worth owning right now. They both have their own unique qualitys for people who want to actually own a physical medium. Plus as you said they're cheap to manufacture, great for DIY, and let's not forgot that a lot of this stuff is recorded onto tape anyway.
@@Kid_Convalescent that's not a stupid take at all. you've done one too many lines today if you REALLY TRULY believe that aesthetics aren't an important and considered aspect of that scene
