I can't say that I found this compelling enough to listen to again, but major props to this band for, between the album's sound, production, and artwork (plus the fact that this is on a cassette) really nailing the feel of something that would have come out in the 80's.
To a degree - but this is much more reminiscent of 'UK Decay' - Bauhaus contemporaries, from Luton (just down the road from Northampton) and more punk. If you like Bauhaus, UK Decay are a must listen cult band.

@@MadMaxBS My main grudge with modern music is that the vocals are usually produced overly clear, with almost unmusical presence and often way too up front, like they're singing right in your face ...but this way it really isn't better.
