I had an old friend who got a small part in his movie Recount and told me Spacey was incredibly weird and inappropriate with him while they were filming his scene- this was long before his sexual orientation was revealed and any accusations were public information so I said something dumb like "woah haha that's so weird." I completely forgot about it until the story broke about all the men coming forward 10 years later and thought ooh dang this is what he was saying. He kind of said like it was something funny even though it was not, probably to undercut the weirdness he felt since talking about this stuff wasn't a thing in 2008, so I kind of just responded like it was something to laugh about. I had an old friend who got a small part in his movie Recount and told me Spacey was incredibly weird and inappropriate with him while they were filming his scene- this was long before his sexual orientation was revealed and any accusations were public information so I said something dumb like "woah haha that's so weird."
I completely forgot about it until the story broke about all the men coming forward 10 years later and thought ooh dang this is what he was saying. He kind of said like it was something funny even though it was not, probably to undercut the weirdness he felt since talking about this stuff wasn't a thing in 2008, so I kind of just responded like it was something to laugh about. I feel bad I didn't realize what he was saying when he said it.
